Begin your practice by getting your body nice and comfortable.
Softly close your eyes.
Fully arrive in your body.
Welcome your breath.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Exhale softly through your mouth.
Again,
A steady conscious inhalation.
And a long releasing exhalation.
Once more just like that.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
Now let your body take on a natural pace of breath.
Let your breath be your anchor.
Fold your hands in prayer in front of your heart.
Gently bow your head.
Here we intend for the highest good of all.
May this practice serve you,
All around you,
And ripple outward in ways both seen and unseen.
Gently release your hands down.
Turn your palms to face up on your legs.
Lift your chin level with the floor.
Feel your body.
Breathe.
In the remembrance that we are made of mostly water,
A living,
Breathing ocean.
Visualize yourself as an ocean of love.
At the surface,
You may notice the outer layers of you,
Rigid or tense,
Just as the surface waters of the seas can be rough or choppy.
No need to change anything.
Simply notice.
Inhale deeply.
As you exhale,
Allow a softening through those places.
Let these next few breaths be delivered into all spaces of tension.
As you continue to breathe,
You begin to descend into the deeper aspects of you.
With each inhalation,
Feel the breath supporting you.
With each exhalation,
Gently diving deeper,
Releasing what sits at the surface.
As you deepen your awareness,
You sense life force energy,
The aliveness here,
The quiet pulse of existence,
An entire world thriving beneath the surface.
Your inner ocean,
Alive,
Intelligent,
Awake.
Continuing to breathe slowly,
Steadily,
Deeply.
Allow yourself to dive further and deeper with curiosity,
Openness,
Wonder,
Exploring the vast inner waters of your being,
Discovering new spaces,
Places you may not often visit,
Where gently you find your way to the ocean floor.
Pause here.
This is the ground of your being.
The place of what's been buried,
Avoided,
Held beneath awareness.
Old wounds,
Unexpressed emotions,
Grief and loss,
Pain you haven't wanted to feel.
Just notice what's here,
Without turning away.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale slowly,
Sense a spaciousness.
Because here also lives your power.
What's been withheld,
Where you cling,
Old patterns,
Yet beneath all that is nourishment,
Love,
Truth,
Vitality.
Sense the fertility,
The quiet hum of creative force.
This is where your life begins again.
Let your breath continue to deepen.
Inhale diving inward,
Exhale softening,
Allowing.
As an invitation to feel what is here,
Letting this energy move,
Flow and rise as it's ready to the surface of your awareness.
Where there it can float,
Be held and as ready,
Gently be released.
It is here in these depths that you reclaim inner knowing,
Your intuition,
A quiet unwavering truth,
Where you remember that you can feel deeply without closing your heart.
Notice now when out of alignment,
How there is holding,
Clinging,
Repeating,
A disconnection from your inner voice,
And when in alignment,
How there is emotional depth,
Graceful release,
Embodied intuition,
A steady flowing life force.
Sense the difference.
Welcome yourself now into deep wisdom,
This ancient intelligence as you,
Resting in depths of self,
Waiting to be seen,
Felt,
Reclaimed.
Knowing the descent is not the end,
For this is the beginning of your return.
With your inhalation,
Feel energy gathering.
With your exhalation,
Feel yourself gently lifting upward through the waters,
Carrying with you what has been reclaimed,
You rising,
Remembering your true self,
You as an ocean of love,
Emerging from the oceanic depths,
Not separate from them,
Yet shaped,
Strengthened,
Initiated.
See yourself empowered,
Rising now,
Love and truth in perfect union.
Where you reach the surface and there's an organic outward pouring of your essence flowing into your life and all those you touch,
You giving the gift of life.
Feel the release of the old,
Making space for rebirth,
Liberation.
Take one more deep,
Full breath in and slowly exhale.
Rest in stillness for a few moments,
In tranquility,
Ocean,
Breath,
Depth,
Rising.
As you're ready,
Gently begin to return,
Carrying with you the knowing that all you seek lies within the depths of you and that you can return here again and again and again.
Place your hands on your heart center and gently bow your head.
Thank you for your practice.
Namaste.
