As we focus on what’s most subtle within ourselves, we are reminded of the light of our hearts. This remembrance brings a beautiful feeling of spaciousness which is where our wisdom resides always. And this light, our love is our great service.

Take a comfortable seat,

Getting your body ready to receive.

Gently rest your hands on your legs.

Settle into your seat and into your own beauty.

Softly close your eyes and take a few moments here to allow.

A gentle steadying of you.

All the wisdom we need lives right inside of ourselves.

Our practice is here to remind us of this.

Whenever we hear a word or a phrase that resonates and evokes a beautiful response within ourselves,

This is because we are remembering.

This remembrance brings a beautiful feeling of spaciousness,

Which is where our wisdom resides always.

Take a moment to reflect on what brought you here to sit with yourself in this way and give great thanks.

It is through this stillness that we unlock the wisdom from deep within our hearts.

Fold your hands in prayer in front of your heart and gently bow your head to your heart.

May this practice serve us,

Bringing us closer to the light within our hearts.

Very gently lift your chin,

Release your hands down.

And here I invite you to lie down on the floor with your arms and legs extended out wide.

Turn the palms of your hands to face up.

And if you like,

Drape a blanket across your abdomen.

This supports our inner organs in settling.

Bring your left hand to your heart and bring your right hand to your abdomen.

Feel with your hands the rise and fall of both your chest and belly while you breathe.

Inhale,

Feel how your abdomen inflates and expands.

Exhale,

Feel how your abdomen deflates and gently drifts back towards your spine.

Again,

Inhale,

Belly expands.

Exhale,

Belly to spine.

Twice more on your own,

Again,

Keeping belly to spine as you exhale.

Continue to breathe in this way,

Yet going a step further.

Now let your exhalations become just a little longer than your inhalations.

Longer exhalations help us to expel the air more fully from our lungs.

This way of breathing also generates a heat internally and our body needs to heat in order to release.

Longer exhalations along with belly to spine supports us in releasing all of what's not serving of us from ourselves.

All sadness,

Fear of any kind,

Disappointment being released through longer exhalations.

Through enhanced circulation,

Notice how this gentle process is supporting you in digesting anything that hurts or feels difficult.

To be transmuted back to love.

Continue for a few more rounds,

Yet welcome here a softening in the action of belly to spine.

Notice how the quality of tenderness is beginning to emerge from your Sacred Heart.

Allow yourself from the place of your heart to open in a subtle way along the entire front of your body.

Notice too how your mind is quieting.

It is through this sense of spaciousness within both our minds and our hearts that we feel safe to let go within our bodies.

Very gently release your hand down and once again turn your palms to face up,

Spreading out even more here.

Gentle breathing here.

Fully enjoy the miracle of your body breathing on its own.

Letting everything both inside and outside of you become even more still.

And all the while,

Keep your breathing very soft and soften through your eyes.

Let this be a beautiful opportunity to allow for the highest parts of you to emerge here now.

Reminding yourself how supported and held you are by the Earth.

Visualize a small bright white light within your Sacred Heart.

This small bright white light is concentrated,

Yet at the same time very strong.

As you breathe,

Let this light begin to expand and contract along with your breathing.

With each inhalation,

This light grows bigger and fuller.

And with each exhalation,

This light retracts back along with belly to spine.

Through conscious breathing,

Your awareness expands along with this light.

And as you breathe deeper,

This light supports you in opening up the whole space of your heart.

Bright white radiant light filling the whole of your heart in its entirety here.

This light begins to grow brighter and fuller,

Where it expands in all directions.

Above,

Below,

In front and behind you.

Fully filling your whole space,

Fully and completely.

Every organ system of you,

All bones of you,

And every physical cell,

Now being flooded with this healing radiant light.

Feeling a greater depth and volume within your breathing and in you.

Any toxicity that has taken up residence within your tissues or muscles,

Also being released through this healing light.

Continuing the whole time to breathe softly and slowly.

Bring your attention now to a place within your body,

Mind,

Or heart that could really benefit from the potency of this healing light.

This light has an intelligence,

Knowing where to go and what to do.

Yet to enhance its power,

You can point this light towards wherever you feel is most needed.

In whatever way this tension presents itself,

Let this light fully fill that whole space now.

Observe any and all subtle shifts that are occurring here.

Notice if tension is dissolving.

Notice too,

More space everywhere.

As this light opens up even more,

It grows even stronger and even more pronounced,

Where it forms a clear boundary around the perimeter of your space,

Where you feel very protected and very safe.

This light is holding you,

Comforting you,

Soothing you.

As this light forms a layer around the sphere of you,

Let the source of this light penetrate more deeply into and through all aspects of your being now to support you in releasing that which you may not yet be aware of on a subconscious level.

All lower vibrational undercurrents being released through this healing,

Radiant light.

Again,

Reminding yourself of how so very supported you are.

Allow this soft,

Pure light to become even stronger,

Where through your soft attention,

You've now turned the volume up to its highest setting.

And as you surrender to it,

You let go even more to expand more than you thought possible,

Shining rays of light radiating out so powerfully here.

A few moments to allow this.

Good,

Feeling healed and restored on all levels of being,

Where all excess energies have been completely released.

Sent from your heart a bright peace emanating,

Beautiful quiet pervading your whole space.

Everything so restful and at the same time so vibrant and energized.

This luminous light holds your true essence,

Which is love.

And our practice is here to remind us of this.

Just another few moments here to bathe in the beauty of this brilliance,

Your effervescent light.

Very gently roll to one side and push up to sitting once again.

Remaining very still,

Listen very attentively for any available insights or wisdom.

As we focus on what's most subtle within ourselves,

We are reminded of the light of our hearts.

This light,

Our love,

Is our great service.

And that we have the opportunity to share this light with all around us is such a beautiful blessing.

It is through this spacious awareness that we have the honor of choosing what's most meaningful to us.

This is what truly matters most in the end.

Now to extend your practice into the inner workings of your life.

Take a moment here to consider who could really benefit from the gift of your brilliant light today.

Perhaps this could mean one phone call or text message after this practice.

Bring both hands to lovingly rest on your sacred heart,

Right hand on top of left,

And gently bow in reverence,

Celebrating the beautiful light that you so are.

To holding the light,

Being the light,

And spreading the light,

Feel into the glimmer of light behind your eyes and smile.

Bring your thumbs to your third eye.
