Prepare for your practice by getting your body as comfortable as possible.
Rest your hands gently on your legs with your palms facing down.
Use your hands to lightly press into your legs,
Encouraging a subtle rise upwards toward something bigger than yourself.
Then gently lean back into the space behind you.
Gently close your eyes and feel the support of the ground beneath you.
Let your hips deeply anchor into the earth.
Feel into a steadiness,
A safety through this anchoring.
At heart,
We know that true wisdom lives within.
And as we make time to sit with ourselves in this way,
Rather than searching or seeking,
We create the conditions to easily access this inner guidance.
Imagine you already sense a release in process where you are moving out of resistance and transitioning into flow and peace,
To welcome trust.
The key to listening inwardly is through our allowance to soften.
It is through softening that we let go of struggle where we can more easily receive.
Bring your left hand to gently rest on your heart.
Lift your chin level with the floor to open your airway so that the breath can more easily pass.
Consciously,
Yet softly,
Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your nose.
Keep your mouth softly closed and release your lower jaw.
Soften all the muscles of your face and soften through your eyes.
Feel your breath as it gently flows in and out so easily and freely.
Now allow a few moments to follow your breath as it travels throughout the entire shape of you.
Simply observe,
Tracking your breath's path and process.
Notice how beautifully your breath fills and floods every part of you without you having to tell it to do so.
Give thanks for the gift and miracle of your breath.
Going a step further,
Allow your breath to deepen where it now reaches the deeper layers of you.
Feeling breath cascading like a waterfall throughout every aspect of your being.
Gently release your hand down,
Yet stay with deep,
Full breathing.
Can you feel more space?
Sense too how the edges of you are softening.
Feel your inner body rising and your outer body releasing where there is such a beautiful healing occurring.
It is here that we welcome the resonance of compassion from our heart.
Compassion is always the remedy,
Yielding an inner allowing.
Through its vastness,
Compassion supports and protects us in every way,
Enveloping all pain,
Fear,
Sadness,
Grief in the light of love,
Giving way for all lower energies to gently dissolve.
Visualize this compassion as a beautiful cloak.
As you don this cloak,
It gently blankets the form of you,
Providing just the right amount of support needed for you right now.
And through your own kind attention,
This cloak holds and drapes you where you feel so loved and so well cared for,
Where all that's ready to be released can now easily pass to be transmuted into pure good.
Now turn both palms to face up on your legs in a gesture of receiving.
That's both an awakeness and an aliveness,
A clear,
Open,
Spacious vessel.
Notice too if you feel lighter,
Freer,
Softer.
Staying anchored in your foundation,
Lift your awareness up to the center of your mind,
Resting within the space in between the two hemispheres of your brain.
This region acts as a bridge for the two sides of our brain to connect.
And as we open this area,
We have greater access to our higher mind.
Simply breathe into the space now.
While continuing to allow your breath to broaden and expand within the space,
Remain grounded as this is essential for our deeper listening.
Now slowly cycle through each of your senses.
See,
Hear,
Taste,
Smell,
Touch.
Repeat that.
See,
Hear,
Taste,
Smell,
Touch.
And once more,
See,
Hear,
Taste,
Smell,
Touch.
To now access our highest intelligence,
Our intuition,
And sixth sense.
Listen very attentively and sensitively for any insights,
A symbol,
Color,
Word,
Or phrase.
Simply let your heart tell you all about it.
Here we hold space to receive this wisdom in aligned timing.
Smiling,
Fold your hands in prayer in front of your heart and gently bow your head to this gift of listening on all levels so that we can pay close attention to all signs guiding us forward towards our greatest service.
We will close with Gandhi's beautiful words.
The divine radio is always singing.
If only we could make ourselves ready to listen to it,
But it is impossible to listen without silence.
I bow to you.
Thank you so much and namaste.
