Take a moment to find comfort in your breath.
Allow the rising and the falling of your breath to soothe you,
To allow some stillness from within.
Strength is found from your insides out.
Your strength is cultivated from within.
It does not belong to anyone else but you.
Your power is defined only by you.
Allow the deepening of your breath to start to ignite your inner strength.
Recall a time in your life where you felt the strongest,
As if you could be and do anything.
Reminding yourself what made you feel strong,
Powerful,
And as though you could conquer anything.
Who were you with?
Where were you?
What were you doing?
What other things were surrounding you,
People,
Sounds,
Smells?
Imagine yourself now staring at this part of you.
What is it that you would say to her,
To him?
What things are different now compared to then?
How does this make you feel in this moment?
Allow yourself to take a few deep breaths here,
Taking it all in.
What did your old self teach you?
Who does she,
He,
Remind you of?
How can you make sure she,
He reappears?
Now imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror,
Staring at your reflection.
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Your strength isn't measured by how many muscles you have or what your outward appearances may look like.
Your strength comes from within.
It may not always be visible,
But it always can be felt.
Feel your strength now in this moment.
Feel its ever growing presence from within.
Now look at your image back in the mirror.
Feel yourself how strong you truly are,
How brave,
Courageous,
And loved you are.
Standing here reflecting in the mirror,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am strong.
My strength is from within.
I am stronger than I think I am.
And when you're ready,
Take this strength with you throughout the rest of the day and into your day ahead.
