Inner peace.
Written and guided meditation by Laura Gallagher.
Peace is often defined as freedom from disturbance.
Tranquility.
I invite you to close your eyes and begin your journey towards inner peace.
Inhale and your belly rises.
Exhale and your belly falls.
In order for you to cultivate inner peace,
You must first let go of what no longer serves you.
You must let go of the need to control the outcome and instead just focus on where you are now.
Thinking about your day you've just had or what has taken place up until now.
What was working well?
What moments weren't working well?
Who inspired you?
Who held you back?
Take a few moments now to allow yourself to let go.
Deepening your breath.
Allowing your exhales to be longer than your inhales.
Exhaling your exhales to take what you no longer need and to give it away.
As you inhale,
Allow yourself to accept peace.
Peace with those who got in your way.
Peace with those who may need it the most.
Peace with your day you just had or the day you're having.
Peace with what worked well and what didn't.
Peace with any negative thoughts,
Any emotions and any other people in your day.
As you inhale,
Accept the peace you are receiving.
As you exhale,
Send some of that peace out into the world.
Send it to those who made it the most.
Those whom have forgotten what peace looks like and feels like.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Exhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Peace must first come from within.
It doesn't come from the external world.
It must first come from within.
Inhale,
I am.
Exhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
Inhale,
At peace.
May you choose to send out peace.
May you choose to feel peace.
And may peace reside within you.
From my heart to yours,
Namaste.
