Welcome,
I'm Pandora,
I'm really glad you're here with me today.
If you're listening to this,
Chances are something in you is hurting.
Maybe physically,
Maybe emotionally,
Maybe it's just that quiet ache that comes from carrying too much for too long.
And before we do anything else,
I want you to know something very important.
You're not weak for feeling pain,
You're human,
And your body is simply asking to be cared for.
So today,
We're not fighting the pain,
We're not forcing it away,
We're going to meet it with gentleness and allow it to soften on its own.
Because when you feel safe,
The body naturally lets go.
So let's begin.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
Let your hands relax somewhere easy.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
And exhale through your mouth,
Like a quiet sigh.
Good.
Again,
Inhale,
And exhale,
Letting your shoulders drop.
And one more time,
Breathing in calm,
Breathing out anything that you don't need to hold right now.
Now,
Just notice your body,
Not to judge it,
Not to fix anything,
Just noticing.
Notice where you're supported,
The chair,
The floor,
The bed beneath you.
Feel how something is holding you up.
You don't have to hold yourself up right now,
You get to be held.
And sometimes,
Just realizing that allows the nervous system to soften a little.
Maybe your jaw loosens,
Maybe your belly softens,
Maybe your breath deepens all by itself.
You don't have to make it happen,
Just let it happen.
Now,
Bring your awareness to wherever you're feeling discomfort or pain,
And instead of bracing against it,
See if you can get curious.
Almost like you're sitting beside a small child who needs attention.
You wouldn't yell at them to stop crying,
You would sit closer,
You would listen.
So gently bring your attention there,
With kindness,
And you might quietly say inside,
I'm here with you,
I'm listening,
You don't have to fight anymore.
And notice what shifts,
Even slightly,
Because often,
When the body feels heard,
It stops needing to shout.
Now imagine a warm golden light above you,
Soft,
Gentle,
Like the late afternoon sun.
This light isn't here to fix you,
It's here to comfort you.
And as it slowly pours down over your body,
It wraps around you like the coziest blanket,
Warmth spreading through your scalp,
Your shoulders,
Your chest.
And wherever that light touches,
Muscles loosen,
Nerves calm,
And breathing slows.
You might notice that the edges of the pain begin to soften,
Not disappear instantly,
Just soften,
Like ice slowly melting into water.
Because pain doesn't always need to be pushed away,
Sometimes it just needs warmth.
Now imagine that every exhale carries something out of you.
Old tension,
Old stories,
Old I have to be strong.
Breathing out,
Let it go.
And with every inhale,
You're drawing in ease,
Comfort,
Support.
You may even imagine the pain turning into smoke or mist gently lifting out of your body,
Dissolving into the air.
Nothing dramatic,
Just a natural release.
Like your body is remembering how to heal,
Because it already knows how.
It always has.
Now place one hand over your heart.
Feel your warmth.
Feel your steady rhythm.
And repeat softly,
Either in your mind or out loud,
I am safe in my body.
My body knows how to heal.
I allow myself to soften.
I release what I no longer need to carry.
And one last very powerful one.
Soft body,
Soft breath,
I am okay.
Let that be your reset phrase.
Whenever discomfort rises,
Whenever stress builds,
Soft body,
Soft breath,
I am okay.
Your nervous system will remember.
Now begin to notice the room around you again.
The air,
The sounds,
The surface beneath you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Roll your shoulders.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Move slowly,
Like someone who just gave themselves something sacred.
Because you did.
You chose to show up for yourself.
And that matters more than anything.
Be gentle with yourself today.
Your body is listening.
And it's learning that it doesn't have to hold everything alone anymore.
Until next time.
