This short meditation is to help you let go of any feelings,
Any thoughts or any worries that you might have had throughout the day.
When you are ready,
I am going to invite you to close your eyes and relax.
As you sit here,
I want you to imagine walking through a small corridor with a door at the end.
As you approach the door,
It gently opens for you.
Inside this door,
You can see a beautiful magical field with lots of light shining down to you.
As you walk through the door,
You can feel someone putting a golden cloak across your shoulders.
As you go throughout your day,
This cloak is going to protect you to reflect any negative things said to you or even taught by you.
As you continue on the journey through the door,
You can see a beautiful tree in the distance.
You walk towards the tree and you sit down on its base.
You can hear a beautiful stream and as the water flows by,
So too do all your negative emotions.
And as they float away,
You repeat these words to yourself.
Cut free,
Cut free,
Cut free.
You can feel all your anxiety and emotions floating away.
You can sit here for a little while longer in silence and if anything arises,
Let them float along the river.
If at any point your mind drifts back to any of your negative thoughts,
Return to listening to that river flowing inside your mind.
Now,
As you rise up beside the tree and walk back to the field towards the door,
Remember that this place is safe and is always available to you.
Bring your golden cloak with you as you walk back to the door.
And when you are ready,
I'll invite you to open your eyes again and come back to where you are.
As you are awake,
Remember that this place is always available to you.
And thank yourself for giving you this time to go free from any emotional distress you may have had.
