Good Karma Meditations

4.4k Followers

Good Karma Meditations is a place to slow down. Led by Rishi, a meditation teacher and yoga therapist, these sessions draw on a deep and living tradition to offer something genuinely useful for modern life. Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, physical recovery, or simply the relentless pace of everyday existence, the practices here are designed to meet you exactly where you are. But the invitation goes deeper than relaxation. At the heart of this work is the possibility of knowing yourself more fully, of developing a quality of awareness and presence that begins to quietly transform how you experience everything. The yoga tradition has always understood that the greatest journey is the one that turns inward, and that is what these practices ultimately point toward. Rishi was formally initiated into the Saraswati lineage, which traces its roots to Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh. That foundation of authenticity and depth runs quietly beneath everything offered here, blended with a warmth and accessibility that makes the practice feel natural, whether you're sitting down to meditate for the first time or the ten thousandth. If you've been looking for a space where you can genuinely rest, reconnect, and find your way back to yourself, you're in the right place. Personalised meditation recordings are also available. If you'd like something created specifically for your needs, feel free to get in touch.

After revisiting this NSDR, I have to add that not only is it in my recommended list, but it is at the top. I am always looking for the most beneficial yoga nidra that is accessible for newcomers to the practice. This is it. My favorite elements were included, from the extended exhale breathing to the thorough body scan, starting with the traditional nidra model of the right hand thumb (the most effective for me). The meditation then continues with an extended body scan incorporating the face and back of the body. It ends with a stretch making it the perfect segue into returning to my day with clarity and focus. Excellent NSDR. Saved to my favorites and I will recommend. Note that there are pauses at the beginning without background noise. I thought I had accidentally paused the recording. There is no bell at the end but an invitation to stretch and come back to wakefulness. That can be overlooked in order to use this before sleep at night.

Very helpful and I realise that I'm not good at sitting with what's going on in my body.

Thank you so much for this Meditation. I’ve just had major surgery in the pelvic region, including the G.I. system. It’s helped me to relax this area, reconnecting with compassion, and feel more confidence in breathing into my belly, at this time. Doctors came in as I completed the meditation and were supportive of me continuing with it.

A soothing voice and lovely gentle meditation for the gut. The request at the end took me out of the mood though.
