Good morning and welcome to your 10-minute morning guided meditation practice for cultivating gratitude.
I invite you to find a comfortable position now,
Either seated or lying down,
And gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Let go of any tension or worries from the previous day.
Allow yourself to fully arrive in this present moment.
And let's begin by bringing our attention to the breath.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
Feeling the air entering your body,
And exhale,
Letting go of any stress or tension.
Take another deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Release any remaining tension,
Allowing your body to relax.
Now bring your awareness to the sensations in your body,
Notice any areas of tightness or discomfort,
And as you breathe in,
Imagine sending your breath to those areas,
Bringing relaxation and ease,
And as you breathe out,
Let go of any tension,
Allowing your body to soften and become more comfortable.
Now shift your focus to your heart center,
The area in the middle of your chest.
As you breathe in and out,
Imagine each breath flowing directly into your heart,
Nourishing it with love and kindness.
Feel your heart expanding with each breath,
Opening up to the practice of gratitude.
Continue breathing in and out from the heart.
Now take a moment to reflect on the blessings in your life.
Consider the people,
The experiences,
And the things in your life that you are grateful for,
And now bring to mind one specific thing that you feel grateful for today.
It could be something small or significant.
Allow that feeling of gratitude to fill your heart and radiate throughout your entire body.
Continue contemplating this thing you feel grateful for today.
Now let's express our gratitude through affirmations.
Bring awareness to your heart once again and repeat the following affirmations,
Silently or out loud,
Allowing their positive energy to resonate within you.
I am grateful for the gift of this new day.
I am grateful for the love and support in my life.
I am grateful for the opportunities that come my way.
I am grateful for my body and all that it allows me to experience.
I am grateful for the beauty that surrounds me.
I am grateful for the lessons I've learned and the growth I've experienced.
I am grateful for the abundance in my life.
Take a moment to notice how these affirmations make you feel.
Allow their positive energy to uplift and inspire you.
Embrace the gratitude that is flowing through your being.
Now let's take a final deep breath together.
Inhale deeply and as you exhale,
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Take a moment to appreciate the time you've dedicated to this practice of gratitude.
Carry this sense of gratitude with you throughout your day,
