This meditation guides you into the quiet truth that your own steady light has been there all along—not something to find, but something to remember. After a gentle body scan that softens you from the heart outward, you'll rest your attention on a warm glow at your center, letting it brighten with each exhale. Then eight minutes of silence to simply be with your light. No storms can reach it. No wind can blow it out. It's yours.

Transcript

Settle into stillness.

Let your body find its natural position of ease.

And allow your eyes to close down.

Place your attention at the center of your chest.

Your heart space.

And for a few moments,

Just feel what is there.

Warmth.

Tightness.

Spaciousness.

Maybe nothing at all.

Just notice.

Now imagine that attention radiating outward like a light from a lantern.

Let it move through your shoulders.

Down through your arms.

Into your hands and your fingertips.

Feel the light moving up through your throat,

Your jaw.

Softening everything it touches.

The light fills your head with warmth and ease.

Now let it travel down through your belly,

Your hips and your legs.

All the way to your feet.

Your whole body now is illuminated from within.

Imagine the edges softening like the boundaries of your body become gentle.

And feel the light emanating outward.

Now here is your tool for silence.

Keep your attention resting again at your heart center.

And visualize a warm golden light there like a candle flame.

This is the source of the light that emanates outward.

With every exhale,

Allow that light to grow and glow just a bit brighter.

You don't need to force anything,

Just breathe.

And allow the light to respond.

If your mind wanders,

Simply return to the light.

It is always there.

Always steady.

Always yours.

Begin.

Begin to let the visual fade.

But know that the light remains.

Deepen your breath and feel the weight of your body.

Feel the air in the room you're in.

And when you're ready to,

Allow your eyes to open.

And as you move into the remainder of your day,

Know that you are your own lighthouse.

Continue to shine bright.
