The following meditation is a meditation for sending Reiki.
Distant Reiki can be sent to a person,
A place,
A time in the past or in the future.
It can also be sent towards the generation of energy towards a specific manifestation or affirmation.
You may choose to write your intention down on a piece of paper.
You also might take this time to light some candles,
Bring your favorite crystals around,
Maybe light some incense.
We'll begin now.
Find your way into a comfortable cross-legged seat.
Close the eyes down,
Relax the shoulders.
Begin to come into your breath.
Relax.
When we relax,
Our subconscious mind becomes more dominant.
And the subconscious mind is the bridge to the soul.
So as you relax and begin to bring your attention inward,
Feel a wave of peacefulness wash over you.
Bringing your palms in front of your heart,
Repeating silently after me.
Just for today,
I will not worry.
Just for today,
I will not be angry.
Just for today,
I will be grateful.
Just for today,
I will do my work honestly.
Just for today,
I will be kind to every living thing.
Our intention here and now is to send healing energy to someone or something that may require it,
Whether it's a physical or emotional healing,
A healing into the past or healing into the future.
Bring your palms just slightly apart as if you were cupping a ball.
Say silently or out loud,
Reiki on.
And imagine healing energy beginning to flow down the arms and out through the palm chakras.
Keeping the shoulders relaxed,
The eyes closed,
You're feeling very relaxed here as you open and become receptive to this very real flow of energy out through the palm chakras.
Imagine a white light spilling in through the crown of your head,
Breathing in and drawing this white light down into the heart,
Feeling this light grow and glow at the heart center,
Breathing out and feeling this energy flow freely down the arms and out through the palms of your hands.
Again,
White light spilling in through the crown,
Breathing in and drawing this white light to the heart center.
Feel this light growing and glowing at your heart center,
Breathing out and feeling the energy flow freely down the arms and out through the palm chakras.
It doesn't matter where the person you are directing this energy towards is in the world.
It just matters that you are thinking of them.
If you're not thinking of a person and instead sending this healing energy to a place or an affirmation that you've created or into the future,
Bring this into your view,
Into your focus now.
Take a deep breath in,
Draw the energy from the crown to the heart,
Exhale and let the energy flow to the palms.
Feel these powerful energies of reiki growing stronger still between your hands,
Envisioning the person or place or affirmation you are directing this energy towards between the palms.
Another option is holding an image or piece of paper with their name or the affirmation written.
There is an unlimited source pouring forth at this time from your palm chakras to their body,
To this place,
To the manifestation of your creation,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Be mindful of the condition this person may be experiencing that requires healing if possible.
And if there is no known condition,
Then wish for this energy to flow to their highest good.
Repeat either out loud or quietly in your mind,
I call upon reiki,
This universal life force,
All the angelic beings who have worked with reiki in the past,
Especially Dr.
Usui,
Dr.
Hayashi,
Madam Takada.
I call on my guides and all the reiki masters past,
Present and future to draw near and take part in this healing session.
I ask that the power and wisdom of reiki permits me to become a channel for reiki's unconditional love and healing on behalf of,
Insert,
The name of the person you're directing reiki to or the place you're sending it.
I ask that the power and wisdom of reiki permits me to become a channel for reiki's unconditional love and healing on behalf of.
May reiki's infinite wisdom go exactly where it is needed most.
May it serve their highest good.
Now,
Focusing on the palm chakras as you breathe easily and smoothly in silence for a few moments.
Move your attention at this time to your heart's face.
Trust that you have amassed healing energies here.
Feel or sense this in your energy body,
This glowing,
Radiating white light from your heart center.
And now,
Send this white light from your heart down the arms and out through the palm chakras,
Beginning to create this energy of white healing light between the hands.
This white healing light growing,
Becoming more and more intense.
Maybe you sense a warmth,
A tingling,
Even a magnetic feeling between the palms.
This ball of light grows larger and larger and more and more powerful with each breath that you take.
As this ball of powerful reiki energy grows in size and density,
Let it increase in size as well,
Maybe all the way up to the size of a basketball.
Feel this love light energy radiating off this ball,
Remembering your intention for this person,
Your intention for this place,
Or your intention to send energy towards your affirmation or manifestation.
Now,
Just release this energy ball,
Just letting it go.
Letting it go up into the air it rises,
Higher and higher,
Floating up beyond your view and out of sight on its way to the recipient.
Be that recipient present in the past or in the future.
Be present with yourself for a few breaths as this energy travels through space and time.
Trust that they will receive it directly at their heart,
Solar plexus,
And or to the body part where it is needed most.
Healing energy always knows where to go.
As you breathe now,
Know they have received your healing energy.
Distance is not relative when it comes to energy and healing.
Take a moment to be present in the vibration of gratitude.
Experience a gratefulness for your efforts.
And take a moment to thank the spirits of Reiki for making this session possible.
