Hi,
Today we are going to let go of that does not serve any purpose.
Do not listen to this audio when your mind requires your conscious attention.
Listen only when you're stationary and sitting on a comfortable chair.
Now gently close your eyes and focus on your breath.
Focus on the inflow and outflow of the air as you breathe in and breathe out naturally from your nose.
Notice your breath closely.
Notice each inhalation and exhalation.
With every breath you take and with every word I say you are relaxing more and more and drifting into an even deeper state of relaxation.
I'm going to count down from 10 down to 0 with each count down.
You will be twice as relaxed and twice as deep and at zero you will be in the deepest state of relaxation.
Where your creative mind will open up.
So starting now 10,
9,
8,
Relaxing more and more at 7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1 and 0.
As you now begin to relax deeply there is a part of you which is very creative and powerfully imaginative and this part of you is listening intently to what I say.
Paying attention to the sound of my voice as I guide you through the journey today of finding forgiveness in your life and using it to let go of everything that does not serve you so you can move ahead in life.
Creating more space for everything that helps you grow.
I wonder if you can imagine yourself taking a stroll through a beautiful forest in the lap of tall and majestic mountains.
You are carrying an empty bag with you and as you walk through the forest you notice many trees around you and as you continue to notice them you look for a stream somewhere in these mountains and as you're walking you are paying close attention to everything around you.
The tall trees,
The fallen leaves,
The sounds of the birds,
The clear blue sky with a few small clouds here and there and the gentle and cool mountain breeze brushing against your skin making you feel so relaxed and as you continue to walk you notice the feeble sound of running water telling you there is a stream nearby.
So you begin to follow the sound of the stream.
However through the course of your journey to reach the stream you begin picking up small stones in your path and putting them in your bag.
The further you go the more stones you collect and the more stones you collect the heavier your bag becomes and the heavier your bag becomes the slower you become in reaching the stream and there comes a point on this journey where you can clearly see the stream ahead of you.
Just a short distance away from the stream.
However your bag with all the stones you had collected along the way has become too heavy for you to carry and its weight is keeping you from dragging it.
So you decide to put the bag down and try dragging it instead of carrying it.
As you muster up all the strength you have you drag the heavy bag step you take forward.
You find yourself unwilling to leave it behind and it is holding you back.
With a lot of effort you finally make it to the bank of the stream.
You are huffing and puffing and tired from the journey.
You sit down to catch your breath and find some rest.
You know that it will be evening soon and you must find a place to rest for longer.
So you look around and you can make out that there is a cottage some distance away on the other side of the stream.
You can already picture the inside of that cottage.
The cottage is warm and has a beautiful decor with comfortable couch for you to sit.
But you find yourself questioning how you will cross over to the other side of this stream.
There appears to be no bridge and swimming with a bag of stones is out of the question.
So you find yourself feeling with anger,
Frustration and anxiety.
Life is a lot like this story.
The bag full of stones symbolizes our need to hold on to everything that does not serve us including the grudges we hold on to,
The experiences we refuse to let go of,
The people we refuse to forgive,
The unrelenting criticism we subject ourselves to,
And the time we waste in tugging them all with us,
Weighing ourselves down,
Prolonging the achievement of our goals and inflicting unnecessary pain and misery upon ourselves when all we had to do was to only let go.
Choosing to forgive ourselves and others does not mean forgetting how they may have wronged us.
Forgiveness does not mean denying the gravity of the hurt they caused us.
Forgiveness doesn't mean beating ourselves down and it doesn't mean compromising on our self-respect.
Forgiveness means that you're choosing to let go of everything that weighs you down.
It means that you're choosing to move ahead in life,
Leaving the past in the past and breaking free from its shackles that hold your Prague from living your life to the fullest.
Forgiveness means clearing the clutter of everything that doesn't serve you and making room for everything that requires your attention,
Your love,
Your care.
So we may achieve all our goals and live the kind of life that we have always dreamt of.
Forgiveness allows you to feel more joy,
More love,
More passion,
More kindness and more satisfaction as it creates more room in our lives and helps us focus on what is important and what needs doing.
And now it is time for you to open that back and let the stones fall into the stream one by one,
Letting go of everything that doesn't serve you,
Everything that is holding you back,
Letting go of all the hurt and the crutches.
Each stone reminds you of everything in every memory that you're holding on to that has no place in your life now.
By letting these stones fall into the stream you're forgiving yourself for holding them and dragging them along all this while.
You are forgiving others around you for their actions and their words so you can make more space in your life for joy,
Love,
Compassion,
Satisfaction and motivation.
Slowly and steadily as you let go of these stones and let them fall into the stream you can see how forgiveness has helped you make a bridge to cross over to the other side of the stream,
Bringing you closer to the cottage,
Closer to your goals,
Closer to a more comfortable and fulfilling life.
And as you make your way across the stream,
Walking closer and closer to the life you imagine and the life you deserve,
You realize that all you had to do was to forgive and let go.
You now feel full of gratitude and forgiveness,
Ready to move on.
I am now going to leave you here for a few moments so that you enjoy this beautiful state of relaxation.
I am now going to wake you up from 1 to 5 and at 5 you will be fully awake,
Feeling light and relaxed.
So start coming up with 1,
Higher up with 2,
Further up with 3,
All your mental,
Emotional,
Physical,
Spiritual bodies aligned at 4,
At 5 eyes open wide awake.
