Find a nice comfortable position,
Wriggle into your body,
Into your shoulders,
Your neck.
Take a few deep breaths and invite yourself into your meditation.
Get yourself into your body,
Into your breath.
Relax that jaw and soften that space between the eyebrows.
And allow your awareness to fall to the breath.
Feeling that lovely expansion and contraction of the breath through your body.
Enjoying the sensation of the breath,
The feeling of the clothes against your skin,
The feeling of the air against your cheek.
Welcome softness into your body,
Welcome comfort into your body.
Just notice,
Observe how you're feeling,
Observe the space your body fills,
The shape your body takes.
Observe your heartbeat.
Observe your thoughts.
Become keenly aware of your individual self right now in this moment.
Keenly aware of yourself apart from everything else.
What do you feel?
How do you feel?
Allow your observation to soften.
Allow your awareness to expand a little beyond your physical self.
Allowing the edges of your awareness,
The edges of your being to become a little softer,
A little blurrier,
A little out of focus.
Until you no longer can distinguish your physical self from the area around you,
The energy around you,
The room.
Allow yourself to expand into this space,
Your awareness filling the room,
Having a gentle awareness of what your room looks like.
A gentle awareness of the space in the room that you now fill.
Allow your energy to spread into every available gap.
Become a part of this room with this gentle awareness that there is an anchor that your energy emanates from.
But you are not restrained or contained to that anchor,
To that container that holds the anchor.
Allow your energy now to move beyond the room.
Becoming aware of the rest of the home,
The house,
The building that you're in.
Maybe becoming aware of people in other rooms,
The contents of your home.
Without attaching to any of the people or the contents,
Just fill the space with your energy.
Fill the space with your awareness.
Allow yourself to expand until you feel your awareness,
Your energy emanate out of this building.
Breathing out into the neighborhood,
Allow your awareness to travel through the neighborhood.
A gentle fuzzy awareness as you expand.
If you feel yourself getting pulled back fully into your physical body,
Breathe it out and allow yourself to expand beyond the physical.
Connecting to the air around you.
Connecting to the smell of the environment around you.
Connecting to the sounds around you.
Being aware of any nature around you,
Any trees or shrubs or bees.
And bringing your awareness to the nearest tree.
Becoming aware of the leaves gently fluttering in the breeze.
Becoming aware of the sensation of being a leaf.
Connected to this big strong tree,
Drawing nutrients from the earth and the heavens.
Turning yourself towards the sun and enjoying the warmth of the sun as it warms your surface,
Nourishing you,
Strengthening you,
Allowing you to grow.
And then allow your awareness to travel towards the sky,
The clouds.
Allow yourself to feel what it's like to be a cloud,
Water vapor,
Light,
Damp.
Floating through a beautiful sky.
Watching your shadow pass over the land.
Feeling yourself dissipate and change and evaporate.
Before allowing yourself to rain down onto the earth and get soaked into the ground.
Allow yourself to spread your awareness into the ground,
Into the earth.
Spread your awareness into the roots of the grass,
Of the trees,
Of the shrubs.
Spread your awareness back up into those shrubs,
Those trees,
The blades of grass.
And then allow your awareness to rise up through the layers of the atmosphere.
Wrap yourself around the globe,
This beautiful,
Beautiful planet.
Hold it in your arms.
Allow love and gratitude to all of those beautiful feelings to pour out of you and into this planet that you're holding in your arms.
Allow any sorrows you have to wash away and fill this beautiful planet with your energy.
And know that all is well as you turn your awareness to the stars,
The cosmos.
Becoming part of this universe.
Let yourself spread into every star,
Every galaxy,
Every solar system.
Allow yourself to expand into everything.
And realize that all at once you are everything and nothing.
Everything and no thing.
There are no expectations here.
There are no shoulds,
Coulds and woulds.
There just is.
There just is.
There's no because,
There's no what ifs.
Breathe out all of the expectations you hold for yourself.
Breathe out all of the challenges you give to yourself.
Breathe in peace.
Breathe in freedom.
Breathe in this beautiful sense of calm.
This beautiful sense that all is right out here in the cosmos.
You are much,
Much more than you ever thought.
You are endless.
You are limitless.
You are free.
And allow that to inform the physical you.
Where you are also endless,
Limitless and free.
When you release the shackles that bind you.
And you allow yourself to embrace the wholeness of who you truly are.
You are free.
Breathe into the sense of power.
Breathe in your abundance.
Breathe in to who you truly are at your core.
And as you maintain this awareness of you as everything and no thing.
As you embrace the planet and the experiences that occur on this little spinning globe.
Know that all is well.
In the grand scheme of universal consciousness all is well.
And tap back in to your physical self on this planet.
Feeling that energy of the universe.
Of your abundant whole self.
To settle within your physical self.
Maintaining the connection you have.
And settling back into your physical body being aware once more of this physical container that holds a mere part of who you are.
A tiny part of your essence.
Allowing you to move through this world and experience the ups and downs,
The highs and lows,
The joys and sorrows of being human.
Embracing all of who you are in this moment on this planet.
And giving yourself a name or a title starting with I am.
Maybe it is joy,
Maybe it's love,
Maybe it's peace.
Whatever you choose,
I am.
Repeat it.
Let it remind you of who you truly are at your core.
I am light.
Or maybe I am love.
I am abundance.
I am joy.
I am freedom.
Whatever resonates for you.
