Take a moment to get settled.
Take some nice deep breaths just to get into your body and feel free to rock a little bit from side to side just to get in touch with the earth,
The sitting bones,
The seat.
Allowing a sense of groundedness into your body and allowing that to bring some stillness when you're ready.
Now relax your face,
Your eyes,
Your jaw.
Just keep relaxing the face until it surrenders and then the rest of the body will follow.
Drop your awareness to your breath.
And allow yourself to get absorbed into that breathing,
The feeling of it,
The sound of it,
The length,
The space,
The shape,
Where the breath is moving to,
Which part of the body expands and contracts.
It's really just become one with your breathing.
Allow the breath to move as it wants to without control or force.
And get a sense of your outer body,
The shape your body takes,
The space your body fills.
Notice any sensations now within your body.
Don't worry about the thoughts if they're popping in,
Just let them pass through as you feel your body soften.
Relax.
Surrender the weight that you've been carrying around all week long and breathe it out.
Allowing yourself to sit in this moment in your own little protective cocoon of light.
Allow that energy or that light within you to move to wherever it wants,
Rise and fall.
Just allow it to do what it wants to do as you follow it through your body.
Maybe feeling your shoulders drop a little more,
Your neck lengthen a little more.
Maybe there's a sense of lightness and buoyancy in your body while also feeling grounded and connected to the earth.
Feel into the space.
Notice the very tips of your fingers.
Notice the energy moving up the fingers into the palm.
Bringing all your awareness to your hands.
Notice the sensations that you feel.
Notice any thoughts or ideas that pop up as you connect your awareness to your hands.
Allow your awareness to follow that energy up your arms,
Up to your shoulders.
Notice if you're called to focus on one side of your body more than the other,
Left or right,
Or can you feel into both sides evenly.
There's no right or wrong,
Just observing.
Are you called to your feminine side,
The left side?
Or are you called to your masculine side,
The right side?
Or do you sit in balance?
If you are called to one side,
Can you maybe share the energy over to the other side as well and start to find a little balance.
Maybe shifting your awareness completely over to the other side if you find it hard and then allowing those energies to meet in the middle.
Becoming aware of both of your arms,
Both of your hands,
Both of your shoulders.
And then following that energy along the collar bones and dropping down into your heart space.
Let's drop down beyond the heart today into the solar plexus,
Our center of power.
Just above the belly button,
Below the rib cage.
Notice how you feel as you try and find that space.
Maybe you got to it straight away or maybe your awareness is just skirting around the edges,
Unsure and unwilling to go there.
Notice what's going on for you.
Are you feeling empowered or are you feeling disempowered?
And can you breathe yourself into that space?
Snuggle into the warmth of your solar plexus,
Your Manipura chakra.
And allow yourself to embrace this energy.
If you're comfortable with visualization,
Maybe visualizing a little sun right at the center.
Allow the sun to radiate its rays outwards into the rest of your body.
Back into those arms that are holding balance for us.
Down into your legs that are keeping you grounded.
Up through your heart space,
Drawing that compassion up towards the mind where you can let go of all of those expectations that you've heaped upon yourself.
And sit into the center of your solar plexus,
Breathing in the strength of this chakra.
Allowing this little seed of confidence to grow.
Confidence in yourself,
In your abilities,
In your intuition,
In your instincts,
In your gut feelings.
Confidence that you know absolutely without a doubt what is best for yourself in any given moment,
Despite what the external world tells you,
Shows you,
Wants you to do.
Breathe into that power.
Plug yourself into it so completely that you'll be very hard to unplug from that energy.
Breathe out the doubt.
Let the sun's rays burn the doubt,
The fear,
The apprehension.
Burn it completely out of your body until you feel your body buzzing with this energy,
This deep knowing,
This internal strength,
This determination,
This tapas,
This inner fire.
That allows you to stand in your power no matter what.
Breathe into this.
Allow this feeling of empowerment to be imprinted into every cell in your body.
Watching your cells and atoms turn into little suns,
Shining their rays of light out into every part of your being.
Until your entire body is filled up with the sunlight.
Allow the sunlight to burn off the old you,
The old personality,
Revealing the being of light that you always were and always will be.
And as you allow yourself to emerge as this being of light,
You may notice that you're not alone as other being of light are there with you,
Supporting you,
Helping you,
Guiding you.
And you may notice that as you notice these other beings of light around you,
That your light and their light is the same until you all merge into one big beautiful light.
Radiating out into the entire universe.
Allow the expansion of your consciousness to radiate into every part of the cosmos.
Embracing the bigness,
The wholeness.
Embracing all the possibilities that you've discovered as you discover how amazing and how complete and how perfect you truly are.
Allow yourself to feel your physical self seated here and feel that energy in you and all around you.
Like you're sitting in a beautiful ocean and you are the ocean,
The ocean of light,
Of energy,
Of pure potential.
And as you experience your expanded self,
Also maintain that awareness of that little sun at the center of your being.
This is your internal powerhouse that you can call upon whenever you're feeling a little less sure about yourself.
You can find a quiet space and connect to this little radiant sun at the center of your being and know that this sun is just a tiny part of this bigger cosmic radiant light body.
Allow yourself to breathe yourself back into your physical body and experience your physical body as it is right now.
Maybe it feels bigger than it did at the beginning of your practice.
Feel free to place your hands anywhere along your body that you feel appropriate or just leave them where they are or bring them together in front of your heart space,
Whatever feels right if you have that impulse.
And then take a few more moments to flood yourself with thoughts of gratitude for you.
And then allow those thoughts of gratitude to spread out to everyone and everything else in your life.
And sit in this warm glow,
Basking in your own divine nature,
Your own glorious self for as long as you like until you're ready to step back into the physical world.
