You're not crazy.

You're tired.

You're not mad.

You're exhausted.

And you're not irrational.

You really need some rest.

Well done for taking this time out.

Spend a few moments getting yourself very comfortable.

This is your time.

No one needs anything from you.

You need you.

Let's keep our practice really simple.

Giving you the space to rest.

Starting by gently scanning around the body.

How do you feel?

How do your feet feel?

Let them hang heavy.

Let your legs relax.

They don't need to carry you anywhere right now.

Allow your pelvis to soften and sink into the surface that's supporting you.

Letting go.

Letting go.

Feeling the big strong back muscles.

Allowing them to soften.

Feeling the shoulders from the inside out.

No burden to carry right now.

Allowing the shoulders to soften.

Like ice to water.

Water to gas.

Letting go.

Letting go.

Allowing the belly to relax.

Receiving each breath in a softening belly.

And allowing any tightness or tension in your chest to melt away.

Hands and arms heavy.

No bags to carry right now.

Relaxing the jaw.

Opening it slightly.

Inviting movement if that helps.

Relaxing the muscles behind the eyes.

Letting go.

Letting go.

Brow soften.

Rest.

My dear,

Rest.

The road is long and rest is essential.

Rest.

You're so precious.

There's only one of you and there's only so much space in your cup.

Rest.

Gently calling the mind back when it wanders.

Come back and rest.

May you be well.

May you get the rest you need.

And may you know you are loved.

May you be well.

May you get the rest you need.

And may you know you are loved.

May you be well.

May you get the rest you need.

And may you know you are loved.
