Welcome to this guided meditation.
This meditation is perfect for enjoying the season of autumn.
Autumn is very interesting because we are going from the energy of sun,
Abundance of the summer into colder times.
And it's a great way for us to take a step back and just observe what we want to keep into our lives and what we want to let go of in order for us to grow.
And a great image for autumn is the tree.
So we're going to imagine or visualize ourselves as a tree.
And first of all we're going to take contact,
Connect with our roots.
And to connect with our roots is to connect with the earth.
So wherever you are,
Just feeling your body against the floor,
Maybe against a chair,
Maybe you are standing up so you can feel the contact of your feet,
Maybe even of your shoes with the floor.
And wherever you are,
Just coming back to the sensation of your body against the earth.
So taking a nice breath in,
As you exhale imagine that you are growing roots into the earth.
Taking a deep breath in,
As you exhale grounding yourself,
Grounding your body,
Grounding your energy.
Let the body become heavy,
Let yourself feel grounded wherever you are.
You belong here,
You can root yourself,
You can grow.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out,
Feeling strong,
Grounding,
Grounded,
Knowing that you are standing strong,
Knowing that you belong here.
Now visualize the tree,
The branches and especially the leaves.
And just like the wind carries the leaves,
The leaves are flying away.
And imagine that the leaves represent everything that you want to let go of,
Everything that you are holding onto but that doesn't serve you.
Things or maybe even persons who bring you down.
Now taking a nice breath in,
Feel that you are a very tall tree,
A proud tree.
As you exhale,
Feel the leaves floating away,
Flying away.
Let the wind carry all your worries.
Let the wind carry all the things that you want to let go of.
You have the right to let go.
Deep breath in,
Feeling strong and grounded.
Deep breath out,
Letting go.
Deep breath in,
Strong and grounded.
Deep breath out,
Letting go.
With each exhale,
Clearing space within.
With each exhale,
Allowing yourself to feel lighter and lighter.
Ready for a fresh start.
And at the same time,
Feeling very strong and confident.
Take a deep breath in and take a deep breath out.
Slowly leaving the visualization of the tree.
Slowly opening your eyes.
Observe the life around you,
Fully connected to this moment,
This breath,
Feeling light and feeling strong.
