Join me for a short practice of letting-go. Journey through a guided meditation to learn how to surrender, and identify those areas of your life that you are holding on or forcing. Through this gentle practice we'll witness ourselves giving up what we no longer need, and build trust in the Universe.

Welcome.

Take a comfortable seat and a few deep breaths as you allow your body to soften and relax any tension within yourself.

Allow your arms to be heavy and supported by your legs and soften your jaw and the tissue around your eyes and the long lines of your neck.

Take a couple breaths here.

Imagine you're standing on a hill with long grass and sunshine radiating down on you.

And as a breeze that kisses your face.

Take a few breaths here in the fresh air.

Standing tall,

Rooted through your feet.

And imagine a part of your life where you're trying to force something or control something.

And take that part of your life into your hands as though you're holding water,

Creating a bowl with both palms.

And offer that part of your life up to the sky,

To the breeze.

Imagine the breeze growing stronger until it becomes a firm but loving wind that takes this area of your life out of your hands,

Blowing it away so that your palms are empty,

Ready to hold something new,

To receive new love,

New path,

A new way of being.

And breathe into the emptiness of your palms.

And feel the breeze on your face,

Gentle again.

Relax your body into the surrendering and releasing of that part of your life to the universe.

And you're choosing to let go,

Putting yourself to the full guidance of the universe.

And breathe into that peace.

Breathe into the release of all that you were holding onto.

And feel the freedom in your body that comes with letting go.

Notice how your body feels.

Notice the area of lightness and space.

And take a deep inhale.

As you exhale,

Sigh.

And invite newness into these spaces,

Newness filled with light and love.

And give those areas permission to grow this light and love throughout your day today.

Breathing out…
