Serenity the Snowy Owl,

Episode 5,

Embracing Mistakes.

Hello my lovely Snugglebugs,

It's your friend Serenity the Snowy Owl,

Here to share another special story with you tonight.

This story is about understanding that mistakes are okay and can make things even more special.

Are you ready?

Let's begin.

In our magical forest there lives a little raccoon named Remy.

Remy loves to paint pictures but he often gets upset when he makes mistakes.

One day Remy was working on a painting of the forest.

He wanted it to be perfect.

He painted tall trees,

The sparkling lake and the bright blue sky.

But just as he was finishing his paw slipped and he made a big smear right across the middle of his painting.

Remy felt so upset that he wanted to throw the painting away.

Seeing Remy's distress I flew down and landed beside him.

What's wrong Remy?

I asked softly.

Oh Serenity,

Remy replied,

I ruined my painting with this big smear.

Now it's all messed up.

I smiled warmly at Remy and said,

Let me tell you a secret Remy.

Sometimes things that seem like mistakes can make something even more beautiful.

In Japan they call this idea Wabi Sabi.

It means finding beauty in imperfections.

Remy looked curious,

But how can a mistake be beautiful he asked.

Come with me I said and I'll show you.

I led Remy to a special part of the forest where an old cracked teapot sat under a tree.

It was mended with golden glue and the cracks shimmered in the sunlight.

This teapot was once broken I explained,

But instead of throwing it away it was fixed with golden glue.

Now it's even more special because of its cracks.

Each crack tells a story and makes the teapot unique.

Remy looked at the teapot and began to understand.

So my painting can still be special even with the smear he asked.

I nodded,

Yes Remy your painting is unique because of the smear.

It tells a story of how you worked hard and learned something new.

Why don't you try to make your painting even more special by turning the smear into something beautiful.

Inspired Remy went back to his painting.

He looked at the smear and decided to turn it into a winding river.

He added little fish and sparkling water.

And soon his painting looked even more wonderful than before.

Remy smiled and said,

Thank you Serenity.

I see now that my mistake made my painting even better.

I smiled back at Remy and said,

Remember Remy mistakes are just a part of the journey.

They help us learn and grow and they can make things more beautiful than we ever imagined.

Now Snugglebugs let's take a moment to embrace our own mistakes.

Sit comfortably,

Close your eyes if you like and take a deep breath in.

And let it out slowly.

Imagine a warm golden light inside your heart.

This light is your ability to see the beauty in your mistakes.

Think about a mistake you made recently.

Instead of feeling bad about it,

Imagine how it helped you to learn something new or made you stronger.

Feel this warm golden light grow brighter with each thought,

Filling you with love and understanding.

Remember,

Whenever you make a mistake,

You can always come back to this light inside you.

It helps you see that mistakes are just a part of life and can make things even more special.

Goodnight Snugglebugs,

May your dreams be filled with magic and peace.

Remember to always embrace your mistakes because they help you learn and grow in wonderful ways.

Sleep tight my dear ones and always know that you are perfect just the way you are,

With all your beautiful imperfections.

Until next time,

Sweet dreams.
