Hello,
And thank you so much for joining me for this mind the pain mindfulness meditation Aimed at reducing the stress pain and anxiety caused by endometriosis Now I know this meditation may not be for everyone But I genuinely love finding new relaxation tools and my cat Roo just so badly has been trying to have creative control In her humans work,
So even if you don't enjoy cats And they're insane nature at times rest assured that they're purring frequency has proven healing powers That will help you feel better With studies showing that just listening to it reduces stress anxiety and blood pressure Plus they're just magical creatures in general When they're not being annoying and spazzing out in your home of course so when you're ready I Invite you to close your eyes Or keep an unfocused gaze in front of you Whichever you prefer Sitting up straight or lying down Your head Shoulders belly and full body Slowly starting to relax We'll start with two deep belly breaths to Allow ourselves to fully slow down And arrive here in this moment So when you're ready Just a deep belly breath in through the nose An extra quick inhale and a deep exhale One more time deep belly breath in through the nose An extra quick inhale and a nice deep exhale Nicely done As we lay here Just notice the soothing sound of the cat purr And feel the frequency of it move through your body from head to toe And back Watch as it flows through you effortlessly Soothing all parts of you Allow the sounds to gently slow down your heart Your breathing And any activity happening in the mind Resting in this moment of peace Knowing that the purr has healing energy,
Which is what every endo warrior deserves We'll just briefly imagine the sweetest kitten Or another comforting animal laying on any parts of our belly or body Where we may be feeling pain,
Anxiety,
Or tension Watching them lay there so sweetly Feel the warmth of their little body resting on these parts Soothing us And helping us slow down And tune into the relief Just stay here in this moment with your healing kitty or comfort animal Connecting to their energy and safety Knowing that this adorable little thing is your protector And safeguard against any pain or anxiety you're feeling today Before we allow our new friend to go on their way We'll just return to the room by taking a deep inhale through the nose And a nice soft exhale One more time deep inhale it And a nice soft exhale We'll wiggle the fingers and toes Do a nice gentle shoulder roll And slowly open your eyes Hopefully at no point did the cat do that weird looking thing where they treat their crotch like a sample platter But either way,
I hope your little friend gave you some comfort And you're feeling better warrior And if you have a cat of your own or any animal or pet Don't forget to give them some love today For being your buddy through some really tough times on this journey Go on warrior You've got this
