Kayla - Mind Over Endo Pain

Originally from Canada, Kayla is a behavioural research scientist and certified meditation teacher living in Australia with her husband and extremely co-dependent cat. Mind Over Endo Pain (formerly Mind the Pain) was developed by Kayla during her recovery from endometriosis surgery. Failing to find much pain relief, with the unwavering support of her amazing medical team, she quickly discovered how beneficial pain-focused mindfulness meditations were with managing her chronic and debilitating pain. Using science-based and clinically proven pain relief strategies, she takes you on a journey with each meditation where you can feel confident to tackle the daily challenges of endometriosis. Really hope you enjoy.

What a beautiful practice!! Thank you so much, I found the guidance and imagery very soothing and helpful - especially the mention of fishies as I love animals :) If I could just note one thing: I found the background music a little distracting. Personally, I would prefer either no music or something very very soft (quiet ocean waves, or just frequencies instead of a melody) - if it weren't for that, this would have been absolutely perfect for me. Thanks again 💜

Thank you so much! Even if nothing can completely take away the pain itself, your cindness and humour really help me to reduce the stress and resistance around them. You make me feel so seen and less alone, every month I return here. Thank you again, sending so much love to you beautiful soul! 🩷

I cannot tell you how much this has helped me. I’m in the hospital with a kidney infection with inflammation that has compressed a nerve root in my back. The pain is immense. This meditation has gotten me through the gap between doses of morphine and delaudid. The visualization of riding the pain and treating it as temporary has helped me in ways I can’t put into words. Thank you is not enough.

I’m “query endometriosis at the moment and finally on the waiting for surgery after over 15 years of struggling but this helped to take the edge of my pain flare up today. Thanks so much! 🙏🏼💛

Thank you, I could feel your compassionate and gentle encouragement. I would love a longer version of this - in those moments with strong fatigue when we can't get out of bed anyway a longer practice would be perfect!
