Michelle Teasdale

Michelle (she/they) is a queer lay-ordained Vajrayana Buddhist, and 500+hrs yoga teacher. Her approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, feminist, anti-racist, culturally sensitive, and affirming of gender diversity and neurodivergence. They are interested in practice as care rather than performance, and in supporting people to return to themselves with honesty, gentleness, and attention. She is also the founder of TEND, an online sanctuary for embodiment and seasonal self-care in community. Rooted in the Taoist Five Elements and the rhythms of the year, TEND offers yin, restorative, mindful and somatic yoga, alongside yoga nidra and meditation, within a steady weekly rhythm, as well as a full library of on-demand practices. There are also monthly sharing circles, combining seasonal wisdom and reading groups. TEND is not about self-improvement or optimisation, but about tending to body, mind, and relationship over time, with the seasons. It offers depth, connection, and practice without pressure, with support to return again and again. Nice yoga Nidra for deep rest. No music and a really smooth ending, so very suitable to fall asleep on or in case of sensitive nerves 🙏🏻

I love this meditation. It is a bit of everything: grounding, scanning, breathing and relaxing. Scanning with stars is very helpful. Breathing out down the spine is so relaxing. Calming voice. Love it! Thank you!

8/28/24 Excellent for drifting off to sleep. Sound quality is not the best but a good nidra and no music.
