You are experiencing a profound transformation,
A beautiful and sometimes challenging shift.
Your body is changing,
Moment to moment,
Breath to breath,
And these changes may sometimes feel intense and overwhelming.
Know that it is perfectly common to feel a wide range of emotions,
But your experience is still very much unique to you,
And you know yourself better than anyone.
So trust that inner voice that tells you all will be okay.
Trust my voice as I tell you,
You've got this.
Even when you question if you do.
Now it's a time to mother yourself,
So let's hold the space for you and all your feelings and needs.
The more you take care of yourself throughout this lifelong relationship between you and your child,
The better life will be for both of you.
This meditation is a sanctuary you can return to whenever things feel difficult or whenever you want to center yourself.
And imagine the best for you and your baby.
Now more than ever,
You need and deserve these gentle pauses to tend to yourself.
Let us now take a moment to settle and breathe.
Find a position that helps you get as comfortable as you can right now,
Whether you are seated,
Lying down,
Or nestled amongst pillows.
Know that you are safe and held here.
Be kind to yourself.
Be patient with your body.
Gently close your eyes if you haven't already.
As you do,
Imagine a warm,
Rose-gold light surrounding you,
A beacon of peace.
Within this sanctuary,
Feel this light infuse you with warmth and calm,
Representing the strength and love you carry within.
A radiant glow that connects you with your baby.
You may visualize this light whenever you wish to feel at peace and reconnected with what matters most,
Your state of mind and health.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Let out a sigh of gratitude for this moment just for you.
Continue to inhale and exhale slowly,
Savoring each breath of life as your awareness shifts to your body with so many changes coming so fast.
Parts of your body may be carrying more tension.
Your body is working harder than ever before,
Supporting the life of another.
So give it the space and time to let everything go.
Feel your forehead soften,
Your jaw unclench,
Your shoulders relax,
Heavy and warm.
Sinking effortlessly away from your ears,
With each breath,
The tension melts from your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Your chest rises and falls in a steady,
Easy rhythm,
Mirroring the gentle flow of each conscious breath.
Your legs grow heavier,
Your feet resting fully,
Surrendering to the support beneath you.
You may place one hand on your heart and the other on your belly,
Once more feeling this vital connection of love.
Surrounded in these gentle,
Rose-gold waves of undulating light,
Feel yourself becoming lighter.
As you journey through motherhood,
You get a special opportunity to pay attention to all the softness you will share.
The softness of a baby blanket freshly laundered,
The soft skin of a newborn,
The soft melody of a lullaby,
And the soft gaze of your baby's eyes.
The delicate,
Soft touch of tiny fingers,
The soft coos of contentment,
And the soft embrace when you hold your little one.
Even when hard moments arise,
Softness is there,
A gentle reminder of the love that surrounds you.
You deserve the softness,
And as you embrace it,
You find yourself opening to all the gentle wonders of your pregnancy.
In the state of tenderness,
Your heart opens,
And you discover a wellspring of inner strength to further empower this strength.
Let's move into a series of positive affirmations,
