Welcome to Michelle's Meditation Sanctuary and tonight's relaxing practice,
10 Minutes to Sleep,
Lullaby of the Stars.
We're going to slow things down together with a gentle journey into a starry night.
Be sure you have done all you need to do to prepare for bed,
So you can fully focus on celebrating the end of the day with this mental holiday.
I'm Michelle and as you listen,
Think of me as a long-time friend and trustworthy guide to peaceful and blissful places.
So get cozy and comfortable as we begin this stardust voyage to sleep.
As you settle into the support of the bed or floor below you,
Let your awareness soften,
Embracing the sanctuary of your room and the quiet space within your mind.
Envision a gentle metallic silvery gold light swirling around you,
Protecting you like a stardust bubble.
Feel yourself becoming lighter,
Untethered to the concerns of life on Earth,
Released from cares about today or thoughts about tomorrow.
This feeling is so intoxicating and freeing,
It soothes you instantly.
This sense of lightness increases,
Lifting you ever so slightly.
Feel yourself begin to float as if lying on the softest cloud imaginable.
This cloud is your vessel,
Carrying you gently upwards,
Away from your bed,
Away from your room,
And into the vast expanse of the night sky.
With each breath in,
Draw in the healing night air and find yourself expanding and rising higher and higher.
Your breath is your guide.
As you exhale,
You find yourself gently ascending above your home,
Now within the celestial expanse of night.
Thousands upon thousands of stars begin to shimmer into view,
Like diamond dust scattered across an endless velvet drape.
Some are brilliant pinpricks of white light,
Others glow with a soft golden hue,
And still others twinkle with a faint mystical blue.
As you inhale,
The stars dim and flicker,
Showing the connection and power you have right now.
Release in an exhale and notice how the stars burn with a richer intensity,
Their light growing stronger with your gentle letting go.
With every inhalation,
You draw in the restorative powers of the night,
And the stars dim and twinkle.
And with every exhale or sigh,
Their radiant beauty deepens,
Illuminating the inky blackness around you.
You continue your gentle ascent,
Your cloud carrying you higher and higher,
Until the world below fades into a distant memory.
Deeper and deeper,
Into the silence of the night,
You are now surrounded by the stars.
Their ancient,
Silent wisdom illuminates the felty,
Midnight blue canvas of the sky.
Feel the vastness around you,
An infinite expanse that holds galaxies swirling like cosmic rivers,
Flowing throughout time without a care.
With each soft inhale,
The starlight pulses with a sleepy rhythm.
Mirroring the beat of your own heart.
The light takes on a delicate,
Ethereal dance across the celestial tapestry.
Feel the subtle magic interplay of light with each breath.
With each slow exhale,
The stars deepen in their luminosity,
Their light becoming warmer,
More inviting.
Feel their comforting radiance wash over you,
A wave of cosmic peace.
Weightless,
Unbound to anything but feelings of softness and lightness.
Your tired eyes notice the soft,
Hazy glow of the Milky Way,
The wide stream of countless stars stretching before you.
Opening your heart,
Enlightening your load as you recognize that space is endless.
And it can absorb all the thoughts,
All the worries,
All the little problems that may have lingered in your mind today.
See them now,
Gently detaching from you,
Floating away like tiny sparks into the vastness of this galactic river.
They drift into the immensity of the Milky Way,
Becoming part of its grand,
Swirling mystery,
Where they no longer hold any power over you.
They simply dissolve into the cosmos.
Take another deep breath in,
And feel the collective light of this immense galaxy embrace you,
A silent reassurance.
And release that breath slowly,
And watch as the stars around you intensify their glow,
Bathing you in a profound sense of calm and serenity.
And your cloud continues its gentle journey,
Carrying you deeper into the starlit realm,
A place where you may truly rest uninterrupted.
And your breath softens,
Becoming more shallow,
More rhythmic.
The stars continue their silent,
Luminous ballet,
Their light a soothing balm for your mind and body.
You can hear the music they would create,
Sinking deeper into the soft embrace of your cloud.
You surrender to the gentle pull of sleep.
Deep,
Safe,
Content,
Sleep welcomes you now,
A soft and gentle landing,
As you let go of my voice and dream among the stars,
For it's time to dream away.
Good night.
