Begin by taking a deep breath,

Holding it for five seconds.

Exhale and relax.

Taking another deep breath and hold.

And exhale,

Letting go of all of your stress.

Take one more deep breath and hold.

And exhale,

Letting go of any stress you've been holding on to.

Now in your mind,

Traveling away from your desk or workstation to the outside of your workplace.

Start recalling if there are trees around your workplace.

Focus on one.

Recall how its branches grow,

What the tree bark looks like,

Where it is and where you would walk past it.

Now keep wandering around your workplace,

Recalling other trees,

Other patches of green or parks.

Perhaps grasses peeking out from under the concrete or in abundance on the sidewalk.

Now noticing the sound of people,

Cars,

The birds,

Even in the busiest cities.

And bringing your awareness to how the air smelled like when you walk past the trees or sit at a park.

Maybe there are potted flowers that someone put in the work to take care of.

What would it smell like?

Moving along,

Noticing the level of moisture in the air around your workplace.

Is it humid?

Is the air thirsty for water?

Moving along,

Traveling your awareness towards your building,

Making way to your workplace.

Noticing more signs of nature along the way.

Grasses beneath the concrete,

Indoor plants,

Wind or breeze,

Or ventilation systems circulating the air.

Light or darkness coming in through the window.

Even water is everywhere,

And drinking fountains,

Faucets,

And moisture in the soil of indoor plants.

Now your awareness coming to where you usually work.

Taking a deep breath,

Imagining all the walls,

Floors,

And ceiling becoming invisible.

The structure and pipes of buildings fading away.

And what remain are the signs of nature that you noticed.

There it is,

The air carrying itself through space.

Water and moisture flowing through space.

Light and warmth filling up every corner.

Outdoor and indoor greenery.

The ground your office is built upon.

All the living beings.

They form a complex web.

Sensing yourself being a part of this web.

You are connecting and flowing,

Alive and breathing.

Nature is all around,

Even if one or more of your senses is not feeling it.

You are alive and breathing.

Nature is supporting your existence.

You contribute to the presence of nature.

Feeling connected,

Your awareness slowly coming back to the present moment.

Taking one deep breath.

You settle back into your physical body.

Another breath,

Feeling fresh new energy coming in.

One more breath,

Bringing back all you have sensed today.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Welcome back.
