Hey Energy School friends!
Today we're going to be talking about our auras and playing with what feels really good for us in honoring and owning our energetic space.
Being aware of our aura can really help us set healthy energetic boundaries.
It can also help us separate from the energies of others and of our environment and really define and honor our space.
So go ahead and close your eyes,
Get comfortable.
If you can,
I recommend sitting on a chair with your feet touching the ground and take some deep breaths,
Letting your belly soften,
Letting your breath fill your ribcage,
Moving up your heart space,
Your shoulders.
Dropping in,
Coming into this moment,
Into your body,
Really noticing your inner landscape.
I often see auras around people right at about arm's length distance around your body.
And so taking a few minutes to actually extend your arms and bring your arms very slowly above your head,
Letting your hands touch above you,
And then slowly bringing your arms all the way back down again by your side.
This is your aura.
This is your energy field.
Notice what comes up for you.
You might feel warmth or a cold sensation.
You might feel pulsating or maybe a tingling in your hands,
Validating whatever you're experiencing.
Maybe you're moving your arms up and down and you're like,
I feel nothing,
Lady.
That's okay too.
And as you're ready,
Maybe finding stillness and bringing your arms back down,
Maybe resting your palms on your thighs.
Now I want you to intend that your aura get really big.
So maybe as big as the entire room you're in.
And notice how that feels.
The feedback I often get is that it can feel really good,
Really liberating,
Or it might feel really vulnerable,
Really exposing.
And if you have a completely different experience,
Beautiful.
Notice what is here as you get curious about your experience.
Keep breathing,
Noticing where you have tension or discomfort in your body,
And with your breath,
With your awareness,
Saying hello to these spaces.
And now I want you to bring your aura really,
Really close to your body,
Maybe a couple inches from your body.
And notice how that feels.
Sometimes this can feel really comforting,
Really safe.
I know one of you mentioned that you're not feeling well and that bringing your aura in was a beautiful awareness of,
Oh,
This is actually how I can help heal.
And this is how I can create this smaller container for myself right now.
And that's beautiful.
And then others express,
You know,
It's a really antsy,
Constricting,
Kind of suffocating feeling.
And all are totally valid.
So breathing here.
And again,
Just noticing what are you feeling?
What are you experiencing?
Saying hello to your body,
To your breath.
And now I want you to bring your aura right about arm's length distance around your body.
And there's not a rule for this,
Right?
It's not like your aura can't be big or small,
Or needs to be in the middle.
It's recognizing that you have the ability to move this and adjust this and flow with your needs and your energy and the spaces that you're in.
So bringing your aura to about arm's length distance around your body and noticing how that feels.
This is about where I see most people.
But again,
It's not a way to limit ourselves or to box ourselves in,
But just to bring more and more awareness to our energetic space.
Notice how this feels.
Letting your belly soften as you continue to breathe.
Softening your face and your jaw,
And maybe letting those shoulders relax.
You'll take a few more breaths here.
And then as you're ready,
Maybe wiggling your toes,
Maybe rolling your shoulders a few times.
And as you're ready,
Slowly come on back.
Thank you,
My friends.
