Hi and welcome.
Thanks for joining me in this space today My name is Melissa Sabino,
And I'm an intuitive healer teacher and wellness guide in This meditation will be sitting with and releasing some fear together,
But don't worry.
It won't be too scary To start us off.
I want to read a poem by Khalil Gibran called fear He says it is said that before entering the sea a river trembles with fear She looks back at the path She has traveled from the peaks of the mountains the long winding road crossing forests and villages and in front of her She sees an ocean so vast that to enter there seems nothing more than to disappear forever But there is no other way The river cannot go back Nobody can go back To go back is impossible in existence The river needs to take the risk of entering the ocean because only then will fear disappear Because that's where the river will know It's not about disappearing into the ocean But of becoming the ocean So as we dive into meditation We'll invite our fear to melt into some love and compassion and Invite it to release as it's ready into the earth Go ahead and close your eyes and get comfortable Allowing yourself to come more fully into this present moment and into your body Noticing if there's any areas of tension that you can breathe into Inviting these spaces to soften noticing your spine and Imagining that your spine grounding deeply into the earth like a tree trunk growing roots breathing into this space Coming more fully into your body Inviting your thighs to soften your calves to soften Bringing your attention to the soles of your feet And then just like you did with your spine at your hips and how you created those roots into the earth Inviting you to do that as well from the soles of your feet as you breathe Feeling more and more nurtured and rooted into the earth and then letting that gravity of the earth Pull that fear that you're ready to release from your body Maybe you see it leaving your body Maybe you feel it Continuing to breathe as you release all that you're ready to release Sometimes when we're in fear we can get a little bit too serious So something I like to do Hopefully it will help you as well is to Get curious Get a little silly and ask yourself.
What does your fear sound like?
So if you could give it a voice a sound so for me,
It's like So inviting you to Make a noise shriek a funny voice an invitation to connect with that fear and Bring some amusement to help you release into the earth Notice how you're feeling supported and held by the earth as you release the fear Letting this earth energy nurture you Maybe even inviting in the energy of trust as you release the fear And as we come out of meditation Continuing to connect with your breath Noticing how you're feeling Maybe bringing in some gratitude even some celebration For the steps that you're taking Gratitude for showing up in your this beautiful way for yourself For releasing a layer of fear When you're ready Maybe shake your body a bit.
That always really helps me gentle wiggle in your feet Your toes your wrists Maybe roll your shoulders a few times Slowly opening your eyes And returning to the space that you're in Inviting you to join me and place your hands on your heart Thank you so much for letting me guide you today And I look forward to seeing you soon.
