Welcome,

Friends.

It's so good to be with you today.

I'd like to honor intention.

This is really about slowing down the mind,

Tapping into our body,

Our heart space,

Tuning into the intention that you may have set for yourself this year.

Maybe you chose a word to guide you this year or an activity that you want to do more of.

Whatever that intention is that you set for yourself,

I'd like to meet you there and be with you in that energy today.

Let's start with a few deep breaths together.

We'll do a three-second inhale followed by a three-second exhale,

And we'll do that a few times just to settle in.

And you can relax,

Roll your shoulders a few times,

Close your eyes.

Inhale,

One,

Two,

Three.

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Three.

Inhale.

Exhale.

And let's do another one,

Nice and slow,

And on the exhale,

I want you to sigh it out.

Inhale.

Exhale.

If it feels comfortable for you,

Place one or both hands on your heart,

And as you breathe into the space around your heart,

Let's focus on your mind's eye with your eyes closed.

Take that attention,

That energy,

To your third eye.

Imagine yourself standing with your intention.

Use that energy that you wanted to bring more of into your life and to guide you and to guide your actions this year.

In your mind's eye,

Stand with your word,

Stand with that intention.

And with your slow breath,

Just breathe love into that,

Into that space that you've created.

I wonder where you are standing as you visualize yourself in that space.

Is it inside somewhere?

Is it outside?

Are you standing in nature?

Notice if there's any beings with you.

Notice if there's any other human beings or nature beings that are walking alongside you.

Let's take another breath and let's just be with that,

Be with the beings,

Be with the energy of that space.

Inhale.

Exhale.

And as you breathe in,

I wonder if there's a scent.

Maybe in the environment you're picking up a scent.

Just breathe it in.

I wonder if there might be a color that is coming forward,

Or light,

Or maybe some sort of sensation.

Offer your love to whatever it is that you see and feel.

And as you breathe into that space and you breathe in your love and offer your love forward,

Feel what that feels like with your intention.

Spread your love to your word,

To your guidance.

And bring in the energy from that space back to you,

Back to your heart,

And to your body.

Receive that guidance.

And just take another deep breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

And if you still have your hands over your heart,

Maybe bring them together in a prayer pose at heart center and rub them gently,

Slowly.

Feel the sensation in your hands,

The warmth that you are creating,

The energy that you are making and bringing forth from your intention.

Stay with that warm energy.

Open your eyes now.

This honoring of our intention is so beautiful.

If we return to it throughout our year,

We come back to it,

Oftentimes what we visualize is different because we're in a different place,

We're in a different space in any given moment,

In any given day,

In any given month.

There's mystery there and it can be really beautiful to just tap into that mystery,

Into that honoring of self.

So with that,

I wish you love on your journey this year.
