Meet your Teacher

Amanda's journey with a rare form of chronic blood cancer has been marked by both challenges and profound insights. Living with such a condition has undoubtedly brought pressure and uncertainty into her life. However, Amanda has discovered a reservoir of resilience through the incorporation of self-care practices into her daily routine. Through nurturing her emotional and physical well-being Amanda has come to understand that self-care isn't selfish—it's essential. By prioritizing her own needs and boundaries, she has learned to navigate the complexities of her condition with grace and resilience. Self-care has become her lifeline, providing her with the strength and clarity to face each day with joy and courage. Amanda has been teaching internationally for over 20 years and has completed 2000 hours of yoga and meditation teacher training, including courses in chair yoga, restorative yoga, and Pilates. She holds a Master’s degree in Dance Technique Pedagogy, and a Post postgraduate certificate in Creative Industries and is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
