When you lose yourself, that is an opportunity to find yourself as a well. For some, getting lost is an unnerving disaster. For others, getting lost is when you learn the most about your destination, the culture, and yourself. It's a chance to step outside your comfort zone, grab your problem-solving skills, and open your mind to authentic in-the-moment experiences. There are few ways to gain so much insight in such a short time as when you get lost.

Connecting With The Landscape
During our journeys, we can create moments that are calming, warm, and relaxing. This can be a simple act of smiling at people when they smile at you and admiring the sunrise and the sunset or having a good cup of tea or coffee in a very nice, cozy cafeteria. When walking, in the woods, this can mean looking and touching the trees. Hugging them, enjoying the fresh air. There is this beautiful sound in the woods, especially in the late spring and in the summer.

For adults, it is a lot more difficult to build meaningful relationships. We spend most of our lives between sleep, work, and family. Sometimes life situations can make it difficult to build more meaningful relationships. Keeping in touch with friends can be difficult when time is limited.
Traveling gives the opportunity to meet other travelers and hear their stories. There is also the possibility to meet locals and become friends with them.
