Most people give up on their New Year’s goals by mid-January. That’s because so many goals are often set for the wrong reasons. Goal setters are fueled by temporary enthusiasm – not conscious commitment. Over the next 10 days, you’ll learn how to sidestep the most common pitfalls, reorganize and prioritize your goals using a wellness framework and mindfully let go of what no longer serves you. You’ll tap into your higher sense of self by finding your WHY and defining your core values. You’ll also learn how to make each goal the right kind of specific, build a support network, break through blocks and deal with temptation and sacrifices. Finally, you’ll draw up an action plan using a powerful strategy to move forward with real meaning and purpose.


Meet your Teacher

Frani truly believes meditation changed her life. After following a career in marketing and advertising, she went on a meditation retreat and found her real calling. Sitting with her eyes closed helped her to see her own truth – and that was to help people. Today Frani is a certified coach and qualified meditation teacher. She is the founder of People with Purpose and through her work there, help her clients set clear steps to design a career and lifestyle they love. Known for her calm and highly empathic coaching style, Frani has helped many clients over the years to find and renew their purpose in life.

Lesson 1

Defining Your Goals

After a short meditation and breathing exercise, you’ll set one intention for this course. In the first exercise, we’ll look at the most common reasons goal setters fail and you’ll do a brain dump of everything you want to achieve. You’ll then use the eight pillars of wellness to score each area of your life and define your conscious goals in line with this framework.

Lesson 2

Finding Your Why

We’ll start with a short meditation and breathing exercise, and you’ll bring to mind one thing you’re grateful for. You’ll then examine the WHY behind each of your conscious goals. This is crucial to setting goals you truly want and can commit to. You’ll also discover the core values that act as your inner compass. At the end, we’ll prioritize your goals in terms of time and importance.

Lesson 3

Building Your Support Network

We’ll do short meditation and breathing exercise, and you’ll express gratitude towards an important person in your life. Today’s exercises will focus on helping you to build your support network, so you can draw strength from the right people. You’ll identify a role model, other people or experts and a feedback buddy to help you stay on track when you start taking action.

Lesson 4

Finding Your Flow

After a short meditation and breathing exercise, you’ll turn inward and identify moments in the past when you were really in the flow. You’ll pin down the key conditions that helped you to thrive and identify any emerging themes. We’ll also look at your strengths and skills, and think of how you can use these to achieve your next conscious goal.

Lesson 5

Blocks & Bridges

We’ll start with a short meditation and breathing exercise and you’ll gently shift your focus to something you feel stands between you and your goals. We’ll then delve a little deeper and look at the external and internal blocks that hold you back from setting and achieving your next goal. We’ll also find ways to overcome these in a manner that’s safe and right for you.

Lesson 6

Fear, Sacrifice, And Temptation

We’ll start with a short meditation and breathing exercise. You’ll continue looking inward and identify any lingering fears about your ability to achieve something. I’ll help you get a strategy in place to minimize the negative impact of future actions and plan ahead if things don’t go as planned. You’ll also learn which sacrifices and temptations to look out for and how to overcome these stumbling blocks.

Lesson 7

Getting Specific

We’ll start with a short meditation and breathing exercise, and you’ll visualize one of your conscious goals. I’ll help you distinguish between stand-alone goals and goals that work together. You’ll make each of your conscious goals super specific by drilling down to the details and visualizing your road to success. So you’ll have a clear idea of what you’ll be doing, where you’ll be and who will be with you.

Lesson 8

Planning For Action

We’ll start with our usual short meditation and relaxation exercise. Today, we’re getting to the fun part – action planning. This is the HOW part of goal setting, but with a twist. You’ll learn how to use a powerful technique that’s favored by many successful people, including Mount Everest climbers. With your timeline in place, you’ll define what you need to do at each stage to ultimately achieve your conscious goals.

Lesson 9

Conscious Check In

After a short meditation and breathing exercise, I’ll help you to build in your feedback loop. You’ll review your support network and decide on the feedback style, frequency and setting that’s right for you. We’ll also do an in-depth review of your action plan to iron out any issues before you take your first step forward. You’ll then have everything in place to start your journey to success.

Lesson 10

Moving Forward

We’ll start with a quick recap of our learnings to date and conclude with a powerful visualization meditation that’s based on the Metta Bhawana or Loving-Kindness practice. This part of the course is designed to boost your confidence and help you visualize your success going forward. I’ll guide you through moments of achievement, moments that sparked true happiness, neutral moments and the moment when you achieve your first conscious goal.
