Welcome to this meditation practice for connecting with your peace.
Finding a comfortable seated position,
Spine tall,
Doing a few gentle neck rolls one way,
Breathing in,
In the other way,
Breathing out,
Getting into the body,
And then slowly finding stillness,
Placing your palms downward for grounded energy,
And closing down your eyes if you haven't already,
Feeling them heavy,
Allowing them to sink in,
Softening your eyebrows,
Releasing your jaw,
The tongue from the top of your mouth,
And feeling your shoulders heavy down your spine,
Arms heavy alongside your body,
And your sit bones heavy against the earth,
Breathing in gently through the nose,
Filling up the belly,
The chest,
The heart,
And exhaling,
Allowing the breath to fall,
Releasing,
Sighing,
And again,
Breathing in deeply,
Breathing out,
Arriving,
Taking a few deep breaths,
And tuning inward to what's here within you today,
Becoming curious,
Any thoughts,
Any stories,
Any emotions or sensations,
Sinking back into the seat of your awareness,
Sinking back and resting into your body,
Just observing all that's here within you at this time.
Some days the inner noise,
The volume,
Can feel like it's at an all-time high.
If this is the case,
Again,
Just witnessing,
Seeing this force,
This noise,
Like an energy,
Giving it a texture,
Color.
Maybe there's a few,
Maybe there's just one.
Witnessing like waves passing through of energy,
All meeting the shoreline into stillness,
Simply following the breath,
And allowing layer by layer,
Wave by wave for all that's within to release itself,
To untie itself,
Like little knots undoing each breath,
And watching this energy move up and outside of your headspace,
Like someone just open the top of your headspace,
Watching this energy flood out of your head,
And dissipate into light,
Floating away,
Like feathers,
Or a dandelion,
Blowing its tiny petals through the wind,
Feeling this release in your physical body,
A softening,
A feeling of relief washing over you like warm water is being poured over the top of your headspace,
Moving like rivers and streams,
Softening,
Circulating energy all the way down to the earth beneath you.
As these layers fall away one by one,
Many roles,
Images,
Identification of self,
Circumstances,
All float away.
Noticing what's left.
Noticing this peaceful,
Still island within,
Like a glowing candle in the night sky,
Deep within the core of your being,
Or like a beautiful lotus flower,
Maybe surrounded by mud.
Things you have been through,
Things you are currently moving through,
But here lies your peace.
Once you move through any type of mud,
Stress,
Loss,
Emotional pain,
To move right through it,
To breathe right through it,
And receive the gift of your peace,
Like the beauty and the healing of a lotus flower,
Connecting here with your center,
And with each breath,
This flower,
This light,
Expands and stretches in all directions more and more,
Like you're igniting your peace with your own breath.
Be here for a moment,
Absorbing this peace,
And expanding it all around you,
360,
Seated here in this peaceful,
Warm energy.
From within,
Feeling this peaceful sensation flowing throughout your body,
Like a butterfly in an open,
Vast sky,
Spreading its wings,
Allowing yourself to be free,
In your own peace you cultivated this morning,
As it's always a breath,
A choice,
A way.
Holding your heart with your two palms,
Take a deep breath in to your lower body,
And a deep breath out,
Feeling your heartbeat,
The aliveness of you,
Noticing any sensations of the temperature against your skin,
The ground beneath you holding you,
The stillness within and all around you,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
And whenever you are ready,
Sending love and gratitude to your heart,
And gently awakening your eyes to this beautiful new day,
This opportunity to begin again,
To your essence,
Your love,
Your peace.
