Resting in a posture of comfort and ease,
Finding a sense of relaxation and stillness.
Taking a deep breath and a gentle,
Slow exhale.
Arriving fully in the present moment,
Breathing effortlessly and unconstrained,
With ease and gentleness.
Moving your awareness down to the ground,
Taking note of all the places where we feel a sense of firmness,
The experience of contact with places of solidity,
Sensation of being held by gravity.
Releasing any momentum we might be carrying,
Letting all tension flow out down to our body,
Not holding on to anything that is happening.
Enjoying this moment of dropping all doing and settling our awareness in the simple experience of being aware,
Simply intimate with the ever-present sense of aliveness of this very moment.
And as we begin to explore the next few contemplations,
Know that there is no wrong way of doing this.
Neither is there a perfect way.
Every way is welcome.
Your way is welcome.
This practice is not a test,
Not a performance,
Just a way to connect what truly is important to us,
What moves us,
Inspires us,
Enlivens us.
Draw on all your powers of sensitivity,
Intelligence,
Discernment and ingenuity.
See if you can give your whole being fully to this exploration.
And as we embark on this path of deepening our practice,
I'm inviting you to feel into the most meaningful motivation that resonates with you for the time that we will spend together.
What makes you want to show up,
Day after day,
For yourself and others?
What would bring you the greatest sense of meaning and fulfillment?
Allowing your heart to answer,
What would make you truly happy?
Activate your visionary capabilities.
For some,
This might form itself as an image.
For others,
It consists out of words,
Symbols,
An inspiring example.
And still,
For others,
It could be a feeling or sensation of tenderness or beauty,
Of mystery,
Or some combination thereof.
It could be a memory of a peace experience or a mystical vision that we have had.
With each in-breath,
Let whatever image or form that it has taken,
Take hold of you.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine your breathing life into this vision.
What would make you truly happy?
What would bring you the greatest sense of meaning and fulfillment?
Breathing in,
Connecting with our deepest aspirations.
Breathing out,
Energizing it,
Making it come alive.
And arouse the kind aspiration that you may indeed find the path to your highest joy.
That you may be truly well and happy,
Manifesting your greatest sense of fulfillment.
Feel into what it would be like if that vision were to be true in this very moment.
How would that look like?
How would that feel?
Let yourself saturate in this very possibility.
And let this be the motivation for the practices that we will be doing,
The material we will try to digest and understand,
And for how we will show up for one another.
Connecting with our aspirations.
Tune into the quality of your heart.
Is it more open or closed?
More or less connected?
To make our vision come true,
We will need the support from others.
None of us will get very far alone by ourselves with no help.
To realize these aspirations and to fulfill our greatest longing,
We need others to come to our aid.
And so,
Remaining connected to our sense of fulfillment,
What is it that we would like to receive?
What support do we need?
What would truly help you to step into your vision?
Imagine receiving what you need from others,
Getting the support that helps you along your way.
How would that look like?
How would that feel?
And once more,
Taking a moment to really let yourself be nursed by this image.
Being completely saturated by this possibility.
On your in-breath,
Imagine that it is completely possible and in your power to be truly blessed this way,
Receiving all that you need.
And notice what happens when you allow yourself to be touched by this possibility.
To manifest our path in this way,
To move towards our highest aspirations,
With the support that we will need,
It is very likely we need to go through some inner transformation of some kind to make this happen.
Some purification,
Finding insight,
Becoming more awake and mature,
And having the courage to step into the invitations that life brings us.
These are the things we have to do ourselves.
We are the ones who need to embody such skillful qualities of mind,
Like wise desire,
Persistence,
And intent.
What would this look like for you?
How would you love to transform to make this a reality?
What do you need to recognize to be able to step into the path that leads to your vision?
How would you love to grow as a person,
To mature in how you show up for yourself and others?
From what qualities,
Views,
And patterns would you love to be free?
And what kind of qualities would you like to become more available to you?
Notice if there is an image or a person or a situation that arises for you which embodies these qualities.
Try to draw on your full imaginative capacities.
And with every in-breath,
Rejoice in this part of yourself that wants the best for you.
And with every out-breath,
Breathe life into this vision so it might come true.
Imagine evolving through all the experiences and insights to fully embody the wisdom you're seeking.
How would that feel?
And what would this be worth to you?
Having found your greatest fulfillment,
The support and transformation you need to reach this,
What gift would you be able to give to others?
We don't exist separately.
And no vision of happiness and spiritual depth is complete without what we are able to provide and give to others.
Feeling into your own passions,
Your skills,
And proficiencies,
What would you love to offer to the world around you?
What would be the greatest benefit you could bring in this lifetime and beyond?
To support others in their dreams and happiness,
To empower them,
And helping them cultivate the right conditions for them to prosper.
Explore these different possibilities with your imagination and simply tune into those that deeply resonate,
Those that fill you with a sense of purpose and energy.
And with every in-breath,
Rejoice in being able to support others in the same way you've been supported.
And with every out-breath,
Breathing life into this vision so it might come true.
Imagine becoming more awake,
More free,
More attuned,
Wiser,
Providing clarity,
Compassion,
And wisdom to those around you.
Opening your circle of care to all who are in need and receptive.
Imagine offering your very best,
An overflowing of skill and generosity.
And imagine projecting ourself in some point in the future,
Looking back upon your life with a deep sense of satisfaction.
Knowing you live this precious embodiment of a human life to the fullest and that in many of your endeavors,
You've seeded the fruits of many blessings.
How would this feel looking back,
Accomplished all what you've experienced thus far in this meditation?
By stepping fully on the path to realize your deepest longings,
Honoring your opportunities and freedoms.
And then imagine this aspiration being realized here and now,
Letting your whole being be touched by this possibility.
How would this look like?
How would this feel?
Taking a moment to nourish yourself with this exploration,
Tapping into a sense of gratitude for showing up today.
As we are nearing the end of the session,
Release all imagery,
All aspirations,
And all effort.
And for just a moment,
Utterly dropping all grasping and clinging to anything.
Letting go,
In ease,
Letting the whole world unfold by itself.
Releasing all preferences for this or that form.
Simply noticing what remains,
Vibrancy and energy,
The stillness and tenderness.
By simply remaining in open awareness.
And notice in this sense of space,
We still have sensations of solidity,
A feeling of firmness,
Hovering motionless in the space of awareness.
Resting in presence itself,
Primordially awake,
Clear and still.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
