Hello and welcome to Goodbye Old,
Hello New.
And before we continue with the themes,
Eight themes,
I would like to give you a small introduction.
Because the Goodbye Old,
Hello New exercises,
You could do them at the end of the year when you are ready to evaluate the year that's behind you and when you would like to look ahead to the coming year.
Now,
This could be at the end of the year,
But it could also be for your personal new year,
Your birthday,
Or on any random day in the year when you decide that you are ready for a new beginning,
A fresh start.
So the Goodbye Old,
Hello New exercises are writing rituals,
Meaning that each meditation is about five minutes and in each meditation I give you one topic to tune into.
And for each topic I will give you several questions that might resonate with you and you could answer them all or just one or none.
It's entirely up to you.
Perhaps the theme is enough,
Perhaps you need the questions to work with,
Or perhaps simply having my voice here guiding you for about five minutes each time is enough for you to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new.
And we will also focus on what's important to you and also for others and the world around you.
And the thought I would like to share with you here is that it's definitely important to take care of the world around you and the people around you,
But I would also like to suggest that you take care of yourself first.
And the way Dudinsky said it once is,
Be there for others,
But never leave yourself behind.
So be there for others,
But never leave yourself behind.
So what can you do to be there for yourself when you are saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new,
When you are ready for a new beginning and a fresh start?
What can you do to be there for yourself?
How can you be kind to yourself during this process?
What can you do to support yourself,
To support yourself during the process of getting ready for a new beginning,
A fresh start,
Saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new?
What can you do to support yourself?
How can you be there for yourself so you can easily support the people around you,
Others and the people you haven't met yet,
The world?
And you're more than welcome to sit still for a couple more minutes and whenever you are ready to finish the meditation,
You can gently open your eyes,
Let the light back in and gently move into the rest of your day.
