Hello and welcome to the introduction on how to do the writing meditations that I'll be offering to you in this series called Goodbye Old,

Hello New.

The reflections that we will be doing are writing meditations,

Meaning that in each meditation I will give you one question to focus on and I will be repeating this question to you for a couple of minutes during the meditation.

And then in the meantime you can listen to the answers that you hear inside.

And then after the meditation I would like you to write down the things that you've noticed inside of your body and felt and heard.

And there's no right and wrong.

You can write down anything that came up for you during the meditation.

And it can always be very helpful to do the basic breath meditation before you do any of the other exercises in this series because that will help you tune into the breath in your body and it will help you slow down the thoughts in your head and the feelings inside of your body.

And the basic breath meditation will help you tune in to what you're sensing inside of your body,

Like for example the movement of the breath in your body.

So the basic breath meditation is always a good start.

It could be the only exercise that you do on a daily basis to reconnect to yourself.

Or it could be the exercise that you begin with and then you do one of the meditations and then you write down the things that you've felt inside and that you've heard inside of your head.
