This calming practice invites you to become mindful of your body as a doorway into the moment, giving you an expanded state of awareness. Feeling your body, while becoming mindful is pleasurable, and profoundly healing. This is Tarika's own version of a Body Scan meditation with special empahsis on the heart center. Strengthening this vital connection to your heart connects you to your body's wisdom, and your body's natural ability to relax and heal from within. This practice will allow you to embrace a strong sense of self love and self-acceptance.

Body Mindfulness Meditation by Tarika Lovegarden Becoming mindful of your body is nurturing.

It feels good to be aware.

Pleasurable to connect with your body.

You feel vibrant and healthy.

You relax when you need to.

And have energy to accomplish what's important to you in your life.

To make this your reality,

Come here into this moment.

Close your eyes and find a comfortable position so that you feel supported and relaxed.

Take deep breaths.

Feeling the gentle rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.

Breathing in.

Receiving the energy of the breath.

Flowing in your body.

Breathing out.

Letting go of tension and stress.

Enjoying the pleasure of simply being here.

Feeling your body relaxing.

Place your hands on your heart center in the middle of your chest.

Imagine your heart is like a golden sun.

Feeling its warmth radiating from within you.

With each breath you take,

Feeling the energy of your heart flowing in your body.

Nourishing you.

Revitalizing all the parts that need your attention and care.

Connecting with your heart and being mindful of your body creates loving awareness that's light and powerful just like the sun.

Feeling the warmth of the sun expanding in your chest.

Flowing into your shoulders.

Down your arms.

Releasing built-up stress from having to take care of so many things in your life.

As you breathe in,

Feel your arms and shoulders being energized.

As you breathe out,

Feel your body relaxing.

Taking deep breaths.

Feeling the energy of the breath flowing into your neck and head.

Touching each part with love and care.

A golden light radiating down into your belly.

Your back.

Feeling the energy of your breath infusing each cell.

Becoming mindful of each part of your body.

Becoming mindful of your pelvis.

Feeling the warmth of the sun flowing into your hips.

Down your legs.

And into your feet.

Connecting you to the earth.

Invigorating you.

Breathing and feeling.

Enjoying the pleasure of your energy flowing freely.

Coming into balance.

Restoring your health and vitality.

Giving loving awareness to each part of your body is nourishing.

It strengthens each part.

The other side of giving is receiving.

You give so much in your life.

Now is your time to receive.

You can open to receive all that is beautiful within you.

Simply by being mindful of the rhythm of your breathing.

Each breath creating more space inside.

Opening to receive your own love.

Receiving this nurturing energy in your whole body now.

Soaking up the golden rays of the sun.

Each cell tingling.

Being renewed by the light of your awareness.

As you become mindful of each part of your body.

Your awareness is expanding.

Becoming brighter.

Illuminating your whole body.

With loving awareness,

All the parts of your body are integrating.

Connecting.

Becoming one organic unity.

Noticing what this feels like.

Feeling the wholeness of your body.

A circle of energy.

A circle of giving and receiving love.

Open your eyes whenever you're ready.

Being mindful of your body with loving awareness can be your reality.
