Enjoy Deep Sleep Meditation by Tarika Lovegarden.
As you listen to this meditation,
You're connecting with your body's natural ability to relax and let go into deep rest.
This happens as effortlessly as breathing.
To release tension and enjoy deep sleep,
Close your eyes and begin by feeling your body,
Feeling the comfort of your bed,
The softness of the pillows supporting you.
Place your hands on your heart center in the middle of your chest.
Your heart is a peaceful sanctuary where you can unwind from the activity of your day.
Releasing accumulated tension,
Feeling your heart is naturally relaxing.
Take deep breaths,
Feeling your chest,
Your heart expanding with each breath you take.
Breathing in,
Coming into this moment.
Breathing out,
Relaxing.
Breathing in,
Opening,
Feeling more space inside.
Breathing out,
Letting go.
As you feel your heart,
You may see a picture of your inner sanctuary,
Perhaps a scene in nature or a special place that feels like home,
Welcoming you in.
This time is just for you.
Feeling relieved in knowing that you can rest now and forget about your worries and concerns.
Here,
It's safe to relax.
You can release any places of holding,
Allowing the tension from each part of your body to melt away.
Begin by feeling your shoulders,
Your arms.
As you breathe in,
Receiving the soothing energy of the breath,
Feeling your muscles gently expand.
Breathing out,
Tension dissolving from your arms,
Your shoulders.
Breathing in,
Allowing the energy of your breath to fill your chest,
Your belly,
Your back,
Nourishing you deep inside.
A soft radiance touching each part of your body that needs attention and care.
Feeling the energy of your breath flowing into your pelvis,
Down your legs,
Connecting you to the earth.
Your legs can easily relax as you receive the nourishing energy of the earth.
Feeling your whole body being restored.
The pleasure of relaxing,
Similar to the feeling of your feet being massaged.
Resting in this silent space of inner peace.
You can go to sleep now and enjoy deep rest.
Waking up happy for having had a good night's sleep.
Good night dear friend.
