Feeling your chest expand as you breathe in,
Giving you space to simply be.
Breathing out is relaxing,
Bringing you into this moment.
Breathing in,
Receiving the energy of your heart.
Breathing out,
Connecting deeper inside.
Letting your energy flow with each breath you take.
Your heart is opening,
Expanding your awareness in this moment,
Giving you the sensitivity to experience your inner nature.
Becoming mindful of what's happening within you and around you.
Feeling your heart,
Listening to this gentle music,
Is taking you deeper inside.
In your heart,
You naturally feel compassion,
Loving kindness for yourself,
Others,
For all of life.
To connect with compassion,
Remember a moment when you felt loving kindness towards yourself or someone else.
Experience this as if it's happening right now.

Do you feel your heart expanding?
Warmth?
Or a feeling of love?
Now feel compassion for yourself.
You may be disturbed in some way,
Or feel distressed by the challenges in your life.
How does it feel to receive your own love?
Compassion is a healing balm,
Dissolving the heaviness in your heart.
Feel this.
Now think of someone you wish to send compassion to.
It could be someone dear to you going through a difficulty,
Or someone you have conflict with,
That you care about.
Notice,
Does compassion give you a greater understanding of the person,
An appreciation of their challenges?
Now send loving compassion to all human beings,
Near and far.
Send a circle of love around the earth,
To all of nature,
All of life,
Allowing this circle of love to dissolve any feelings of separation or pain.
Feel the love of your loved ones,
Experiencing the blessing of being one.
Let loving kindness fill your day.
Act with compassion again and again.
