Welcome to Day 31 of the Mindful Mornings Challenge. You've made it to your final day! For this meditation, we will be planting three "seeds" within the mind: Compassion, Pride, and Gratitude. This ritual is great for when you're ready to take on the day, or if you may be struggling to simply open your eyes. We will use affirmations steeped in compassion, pride, and gratitude to help us recognize that no achievement is too small and that we are enough, just as we are.

Hello and welcome to day 31 of the mindful morning challenge on Insight Timer.

My name is Lisa and I'm so grateful and honored to be starting your day with you.

First of all,

Congratulations on joining in on this challenge and for simply setting the intention to start the day off right.

Creating new narratives and building new habits are already challenges.

So know that by simply showing up,

You've made a beautiful change within your day and hopefully your life.

The morning is when I've been blessed with a chance and time to set an intention to live this one life on my terms.

It's a time to recognize life is happening for me,

Not to me.

It's a chance to honor the fact that breathing and simply opening my eyes in the morning is a blessing.

But it's also a time where I may be struggling to get out of bed.

The blessings sometimes feel more like burdens.

And I'm dreading my to-do list for seeking motivation and inspiration from it.

And if you've experienced mornings like this,

You're not alone.

This is why I begin every morning with three simple seeds,

The seed of compassion,

The seed of pride,

And the seed of gratitude.

To plant the seed of compassion within yourself in the morning grows self-acceptance.

Planting the seed of pride doesn't mean we're being cocky.

It means we're taking time to honor our own self-worth.

And planting the seed of gratitude is to help remind us how blessed we actually are.

From there,

I set my intentions for my day.

So with that introduction,

Let's go ahead and come to a comfortable seated position.

Take a nice,

Big,

Deep inhale into the body.

And exhale,

Sigh it out,

Let it go.

Take a moment to honor where you're at,

Not judging how you physically feel or emotionally feel,

Simply just be breathing in and sighing out.

Go ahead,

Take a moment to be compassionate with yourself,

Knowing that you're enough.

You're exactly where you need to be in this moment.

Take a moment to honor and feel whatever you're feeling.

And repeat this affirmation after me.

Who I was,

Who I am,

And who I'm becoming is more than enough.

Who I was,

Who I am,

And who I am becoming is more than enough.

Who I was,

Who I am,

And who I am becoming is more than enough.

I am enough.

I am enough.

Take a nice,

Big,

Deep inhale into the body,

And exhale.

And ask yourself,

How can you be more compassionate with yourself today,

Knowing it's okay to feel however you need to,

Knowing it's okay to be wherever you need to be.

Breathing in and sighing it out.

Take a moment to find pride in simply making it to this meditation.

Take a moment to reflect on all that you have done.

Take a moment to honor who you are,

Even if you don't always like yourself.

Knowing again that you're enough.

And repeat these affirmations.

I am proud of who I am.

I am proud of who I am.

I am proud of all that I am doing.

I am proud of all that I am doing.

I am proud of who I am becoming.

I am proud of who I am becoming.

Inhale and exhale.

Taking a moment to reflect on all that you have done,

Even if the things you have done are seemingly big or small.

And then go ahead and take a moment to really think about one thing you are truly grateful for.

That there is nothing too small or too big.

And begin to think of all that you have,

All that you are blessed with,

Even if it's as simple as this morning.

And repeat this affirmation.

I am blessed.

I am blessed.

And from this place of gratitude,

Pride,

And compassion,

Set an intention for yourself knowing that you are growing and manifesting a day,

Maybe even a year,

A life that you truly deserve,

That you are truly worthy of.

Breathe in,

Sigh out.

You are ready.

Remember who you are,

Remember who you are becoming,

And remember you are more than enough.

Though it is the last day of this challenge,

My hope is that this is actually the beginning.

You've been inspired and motivated to use these tools that you have learned in these past 31 days to create and manifest a healthy,

Happy life of your dreams.

One that you deserve.

Good luck and Namaste.
