Welcome to Moon Celebration,
Every July the 20th.
It remains special each year.
So we look up to the moon on this special calendar day.
The first moon landing occurred on July the 20th in the year 1969.
NASA's Apollo 11 lunar module touched down on the lunar surface.
Shortly after,
Commander Neil Armstrong became the first human to step on the moon.
Followed by Lunar Module Pilot,
Buzz Aldrin.
This historic mission achieved its lunar landing at exactly 20.
17 UTC.
A few hours later,
On July the 21st,
Neil Armstrong made his iconic broadcast descending down the ladder and spoke his legendary words.
That's one small step for man.
One giant leap for mankind.
The National Moon Day and Space Day in the United States and other regions celebrating space milestones and achievements.
So we are invited to celebrate.
Host a stargazing night.
Set up your telescope or join a local astronomy club to observe the moon's craters.
Also watch space documentaries or even films about space exploration and the historic 1969 moon landing of Apollo 11.
Also visiting a science center,
Local museums,
Planetariums or space centers,
Hosting special educational programs,
Exhibitions or lectures.
Also a time to engage in activities.
Build model rockets,
Design a mock lunar base and experiment.
With things related to lunar gravity.
On this special day,
You can share online.
Hashtag International Moon Day.
And post photographs,
Artworks and facts with social media.
So to celebrate personally is all about preparing your space under the night sky or sit near a window where you can see the moon.
Cleansing your area,
Lighting a candle or burning incense.
You can also make moon water.
Filling a glass with water and set it outside or in a windowsill for overnight to absorb the moon's energy.
Then use the next morning drinking,
Watering plants,
Offering rituals or even a bath.
So the full moon is about releasing the old.
With the full moon we write down habits or fears or stresses that you wish to let go of.
And then,
After you write them down,
You can burn or tear up the paper to symbolize clearing space in your life.
And with the noon moon setting intentions.
To write down those new goals and dreams of fresh starts that you want to invite into your life over the coming months.
And then we close this intention with gratitude.
Giving thanks to the Moon for its guidance,
Stability and energy.
Then we can ground ourselves once more.
Take that breath in,
Place your hand over your heart and blow out your candle to end the ritual.
Now the moon does represent the divine feminine energy.
Intuitive,
Wise and compassionate.
Also time for spiritual reflection,
Meditation and ascension.
To celebrate the moon.
I will read out a poem.
The Famous Poem by Robert Louis Stevenson.
1850 to 1894.
The moon.
The moon has a face like the clock in the hall.
She shines on thieves on the garden wall.
On streets and fields and harbour quays.
And birdies asleep in the farks of the trees.
The squalling cat and the squeaking mouse.
The howling dog by the door of the house.
The bat that lies in bed at noon.
And all love to be out by the light of the moon.
But all of the things that belong to the day cuddle to sleep to be out of their way.
And flowers and children close their eyes,
Till up in the morning the sun shall rise.
Now for our moon blessing meditation.
Let's begin.
Please get comfortable.
And close your eyes.
An introduction.
The moon's gravity is roughly one-sixth of Earth.
Because the moon is much smaller and has less mass.
This means an object weighing 60kg on Earth would feel as if it weighs only 10kg on the lunar surface.
So with lunar gravity,
Your weight on the moon is one sixth of your earthly weight.
And movement like the astronauts bounce and float.
Because the weaker gravity makes it significantly easier to jump and stay airborne.
The trajectories of dropped items fall much more slowly.
But thrown objects travel further,
Hence airborne.
The moon's gravitational field has slight variations due to irregular crust thickness and density.
So asking you now,
How would you feel?
To be on that moon.
Imagine.
Deeply imagined.
All happiness of yourself has gone.
You physically have never felt so light.
So airborne yourself.
And everything you touch that normally feels normal is so awesomely light.
Plus the trick of slow falling items.
Feel your inner child laughing inside.
Because it feels like playing.
On a magical moon of fun and games.
Plus that amazing lunar shine and moon dust every step you kind of spring into.
So the question is.
.
.
Do you need to take.
.
.
Some of these fine quality specs.
Have that spring in your step,
See everything you touch and hold is indeed a magical tool in life.
Should our inner child come out to play and say no to heavy feelings and no to heavy decisions?
And how we stand,
Do we stand tall?
For the moon asks us to look up,
Raise the head and focus on her glorious light.
Eyes lovingly connect.
And still after thousands of years.
We still feel this amazing energy of the moon.
Now see yourself,
Grounded on earth.
And energetically sending blessings to the moon.
Remember as we bless,
We are blessed.
Please link to your white heart color chakra.
That is pure white.
And send white energy of love.
Respect and enjoy.
That the moon brings every single dark night.
Send a constant wave of your blessings in your own personal fun way.
To the moon for one full minute now.
Thank you.
Now feel I pull from the moon,
Sending back thank you blessings.
That your life continues to be illuminated.
With the miracle of life and all the treasures it holds.
Focus deeply on this image.
From the moon blessing you.
One full minute now,
Please.
Now think of your entire body lit up with moonlight.
Shining a bright pure white moon energy.
Inside and outside.
Just like a full moon.
Feel really bright Just know you are lifting your vibration.
Which we just know is so good for every cell.
Every breath.
As you ahode onto this new friendship connection.
Then please ground your earth roots to the abundant living earth.
Colourful earth and your roots at her centre.
Feel blessed with earth,
With moon,
With sun and stars.
Then breathe into you at the centre of it all.
Bless you and open your eyes.
