This practice has been created to help you befriend and connect to your womb, or womb space. It gives you time to relax and focus on a beautiful flowing breath pattern which will nourish and support your body and your mind, and bring awareness to a sacred part of your body.

Welcome to this meditation which has been created to help you befriend,

Nurture and support the connection between you and your womb or your womb space.

Take your time now to get comfortable.

You can be lying down or seated in a chair or on the floor.

Just find whatever support you need for your body in whatever way you need it.

For the next few moments give yourself permission to tune out from external noises and the to-do lists and any of the shoulds and give yourself the opportunity to tune into the wisdom of your body.

This precious time gives you a chance to connect and cultivate a nurturing relationship between you and your womb space to befriend this part of your body in a gentle and nourishing way.

Now that you have made yourself comfortable take a deep breath in and then sigh that breath out through your mouth letting go of any anxiety or tension that you might be holding on to.

I invite you now to take two more of these releasing breaths before you just come to a settled breathing rhythm.

Before you just let the body simply breathe itself.

As you follow your next breath watch it flow down into your lower belly into your whole pelvis area and as you feel this part of your body fill with the fresh new oxygen from this breath gently place your right hand onto your womb space and warmly welcome this part of your body to come alive.

Let the breath flow in and out for a few moments as you acknowledge this precious part of your body and allow it to simply be.

Let your hand rest here softly and tenderly offering support to your womb.

On your next breath watch your breath fill up your entire chest,

Your lungs,

Your heart space and as you feel this breath circulating place your left hand over your heart and invite this part of your body to step forward.

Let the breath flow here allowing the loving compassionate energy of your heart to arrive into this space.

Let your hand rest here comfortably offering support to your heart.

Now begin to visualize a channel of energy linking both your heart and your womb space together.

This may arise as a color,

A flow of water,

A healing light or perhaps it may be more of a sensation of connection.

Allow yourself to start to feel these two sacred portals within your body unite and merge together bringing the loving protective energy of your heart together with the creative powerful energy of your womb space.

As you breathe in feel a sense that your breath is moving down from your heart space where your left hand rests through this channel that you can see or feel into your womb space where your right hand rests.

As you breathe out feel this breath move from your womb space back up to your heart space.

This breath flows between the two parts of your body creating a beautiful channel,

A beautiful connected flow of energy and love and healing between these two parts of your body.

Allowing your breath now to move in this flowing connected pace from your heart to your womb and from your womb to your heart each time removing blocks,

Stagnation,

Clearing the path to cultivate a greater sense of harmony between these two sacred spaces.

Every single breath connects you in a more deeply nourishing and compassionate way.

Allow yourself to bring love and compassion from your heart into your womb and bring power and creativity into your heart from your womb.

Bring gratitude and nourishment from your heart down into your womb and bring courage and inner wisdom from your womb up into your heart.

Allow these two beautiful spaces to become partners,

To become united,

To bring you back to wholeness.

Continue to breathe in and out in this connected way for a few more moments with every breath cleansing and energizing to bring awareness and aliveness into your womb and into your heart.

Now,

Bring both hands down onto your womb space,

Bringing the thumbs and first fingers to touch and creating a beautiful triangle shape.

Lay your hands across your womb space and let them rest here as you take the deepest,

Most nourishing breaths that you've taken all day into this sacred part of your body.

Letting the breath fill up the spaces and gaps that may have been long forgotten,

Bringing life,

Love and connection into your womb space.

Let yourself become aware of this part of the body,

This sacred portal of transformation and creation and honor any words of wisdom,

Any sensations,

Any emotions or visualizations that may arise as you connect into this space.

Now ask your womb space,

What does she need?

What does she crave?

What does she desire?

Let her voice be heard.

Let her know it's safe.

Let her wisdom come through.

Now take the deepest breath that you have taken,

Perhaps all day,

Perhaps all week.

Fill your womb space with fresh new air and sigh that breath out,

Sending with it any anxiety or tension.

I invite you to do this twice more,

Using your exhale to release and let go of anything that no longer serves you.

Give yourself a few moments now to gently awaken the body,

Bringing movement to the hands and to the toes and taking one more moment to bring attention to your womb space,

Letting her know that you see her,

You feel her and you hear her.

Then when you are ready,

Open your eyes and continue your day with awareness and compassion,

With power and trust,

Allowing the wisdom of your womb space to support and guide you.
