Hello and welcome to this energy-based meditation.
My name is Kristen and I am grateful to lead you on this journey within.
During this meditation,
We will gently become aware of our body and the energies residing within.
Our lives are an interplay of energy,
Ebbing and flowing naturally.
Everything we encounter is a form of energy.
It surrounds us,
Flows through us,
And guides us.
Energy is not bound by time or space.
When we settle into stillness,
We can directly interact and influence these subtle energies.
Let us now begin our journey within.
If you would please make yourself as comfortable as possible,
You may choose to sit up or lie down.
Your back should be straight and hands gently resting at your sides or in your lap.
If you are looking for more of a grounding practice,
Please allow your palms to face downward towards the earth.
If you however feel you need to open yourself more to the universe,
Please allow your palms to gently open face up.
Let your eyes gently float closed and take a deep breath.
Now see if you can make yourself just 10% more comfortable.
We will begin by bringing our awareness to our bodies in this sacred space.
Notice the contact points of your body to the ground,
Bed,
Couch,
Or whatever is supporting you.
Notice any area that is uncomfortable and shift your posture if necessary.
We will begin with a body scan.
Remember to take note of any sensations you notice such as tingling,
Fizzy sensations,
Or perhaps any pain or tightness.
If you notice any tightness during the body scan,
Breathe into that space with intention in order to feel deep release.
Bring your awareness to your right foot,
Right ankle,
Right calf,
Right shin,
Right knee,
Thigh,
Your right hip.
Allow your awareness to drift to the right side of your abdomen.
Move up to your ribs,
The right side of your chest,
Right shoulder,
Upper arm,
Elbow,
Right forearm,
Hand,
Fingers,
The right side of your neck,
Jaw,
Face,
And scalp.
Now gently bring your awareness to your left foot,
Left ankle,
Calf,
Shin,
Knee,
Left thigh,
Hip,
The left side of your abdomen.
Allow your awareness to float to the left side of your ribs,
Your chest,
Shoulder,
Left upper arm,
Elbow,
Forearm,
Your left hand,
Fingers.
Bring your awareness to the left side of your neck,
Jaw,
Face,
And scalp.
Allow your awareness to rest on the back of your body,
The back of your legs,
Your low back,
Your mid-back,
Upper back,
The back of both shoulders,
The back of your neck,
The top of your head.
Gently bring your awareness to your forehead,
Allowing sweet release of any tension you may be feeling at your temples.
Allow your awareness to shift to your face,
Your throat,
Your chest,
Your ribcage,
Abdomen,
Pelvis,
Top of your thighs,
Your knees,
Top of your lower legs and feet.
Now take a deep breath and tense your whole body,
Holding for a moment.
Then release your body and your breath with a sigh,
Feeling sweet release.
Gently bring your awareness to rest with your breath.
You do not need to change your breath.
Only notice the flow and rhythm.
Feel your breath spiraling down your throat,
Expanding your diaphragm,
And feel the release as your breath flows back up your throat,
Through your nose,
And out into the universe.
With each breath,
Your relaxation deepens,
Your body softens,
Your awareness naturally pulls inward.
Relaxing into oneness within you is a place of vast stillness,
Spacious contentment,
A space.
With each breath,
Your spaciousness expands.
You are infinite,
Pure potentiality.
In the sacred space within,
Subtle energies move,
Healing you at the vibrational level of the universe,
Where all is oneness,
Wholeness,
Complete fulfillment and connection.
There is no distinction between your physicality and spaciousness.
You are the universe.
You are safe.
You are loved.
You are healed.
With each breath,
Your body,
Mind,
And spirit connect deeper to the intelligence that pervades all of existence.
Your cells are bathed in the pure healing energies of the universe.
In this sacred space,
You intuitively know that this process of healing is continuous,
Never-ending.
You are a part of the process of the universe,
Continual exchange of energy,
Of flow,
Of creation,
And destruction,
All happening simultaneously within the spaciousness of your sacred vessel.
You are the universe.
You are stardust and sea salt,
A leaf fluttering in the breeze,
A drop of rain in the vast ocean.
Breathe here for a few moments and explore your expansive nature.
Gently,
We begin to flow back to our physical bodies.
Notice the sensation,
The texture of the energies that move through you.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Allow the natural flow of these energies to bring small movements in your fingers and toes.
Release any bits of dis-ease you may still be holding onto,
Allowing these subtle energies to dissolve this tension.
Breathe in deeply,
Allowing your diaphragm to fully expand,
And release your breath with a sigh.
You may open your eyes when you are ready,
Allowing the stillness created to permeate your day,
Knowing you can return to this space of stillness at any time to renew and refresh your spirit.
