A Hand To Hold
A gentle, trauma-sensitive meditation exploring the simple experience of touch, contact, and self-support through the hands. The practice invites one hand to rest inside the other, noticing sensations such as warmth, texture, temperature, weight, or the feeling of the fingers meeting. There is no particular feeling to create and no need to remain with the hands. Attention can move toward the breath, the surrounding environment, or whatever feels more supportive in the moment. A quiet exploration of gentle contact and choice, with space to shift position, move the body, or return to something neutral whenever needed. The practice closes by allowing the hands to rest, move, or find another comfortable position before reconnecting with the breath and surroundings.
