Hello dearest ones and welcome to a meditation brought to you by The Forum.
Perspective.
Today I'd like you to consider doing a meditation in a different way to what you normally would.
Find a space that you would not normally sit in.
If you lie down,
Sit up today.
If you close your eyes,
Meditate maybe with them open.
Find a space where maybe the light hits you differently.
A breeze comes through and brushes against your skin.
See things in a different way.
How does the light fall?
How does the room look?
Maybe you're sitting outside.
How does the breeze blow?
Now that you have found your position,
Melt your body into that place on this earth.
And I invite you now to take a deep breath in through your nose and release.
On the next inhale,
I would like you to imagine small magical particles glowing blue.
They are floating in the air all around.
And as you inhale,
These particles that are glowing with perspective,
Glowing with change,
Glowing with possibility.
See these particles travel through your nose into your lungs,
Through your blood to your heart and all around your body.
See them loving yourselves,
Hugging,
Embracing the inside of you.
Feel the glow,
Feel that glow inside of your body.
And now exhale the stale.
Let's do that again.
Inhale the particles deep within your body,
Traveling,
Loving.
Exhale the stale.
Imagine now yourself,
Five years ahead of today.
Imagine this person as you think you would like to be.
Just keep in mind that there's no wrong,
There's no right.
It is just one of your probable outcomes of the very many choices of what you could be.
We make so many of them choices.
In order to become or not become.
Picture yourself clearly,
Vividly.
Not just how you look,
But also how you look.
See your hair,
Your skin,
Your eyes.
Look at what you are wearing.
Where are you living?
Where are you working?
How is the world?
How does it feel?
Has it changed?
Is it at all different?
But more importantly,
Does it feel wonderful to see yourself,
Meet yourself five years from now?
This bridge that you are crossing to meet this person is just fast forwarding your feelings,
Your complications,
Your clouded mind in how to get there.
Sit here now and feel this wonderful feeling and if you are yet to feel the wonderful feeling,
Wait until you feel the wonder of five years from now.
Breathe here deeply.
Open your palms to receive the hands of the five years from now you and let them place their hands into yours.
Look into their eyes and ask them.
How did you get here?
What lessons in the feelings did you have to get here?
What were the steps?
Pay attention to how their response makes you feel.
You may be excited,
You may feel overwhelmed.
Just be in those feelings.
Listen to the words.
Listen to what they are saying.
You are not alone.
You have what it takes.
You deserve to feel happy,
Whole,
Fulfilled.
I am here and I love you.
Be here now.
Thank the five year from now version of yourself and gently come back to the room or the space that you are sitting in.
Come back to your body.
Take a deep breath in and release.
When you are ready and you feel present enough,
Write down the experience that you had with your five year from now self.
Write down feelings,
Advice that you maybe heard,
Ideas that you maybe got.
Just keep in mind that there are no guidelines.
There are no rules.
This should make you excited.
The idea about your future should make you elated.
