Hi and welcome to a breathwork session done by the forum.
This is a very simple and easy to do breathwork.
You may feel a little bit emotional.
There are obviously side effects all breathwork.
Well worth them,
They are worth the side effects.
This one in particular is to make space for the new.
You clearing out that old junk and you are making space for the new things that you are wanting to invite into your life,
Your space,
Your consciousness.
What it is around is you are going to do three rounds of 20 clearing breaths.
I am going to do this with you.
You are not alone.
We are going to do it together and we are going to really get that body moving and shaking.
I want you to get yourself into a comfortable position.
You can lie down,
You can sit.
If you want to pause now and maybe get yourself a candle,
Some incense,
A diffuser.
Maybe get yourself into a place where you have a beautiful view.
Whatever makes you comfortable is what is going to be best for you.
So you are going to bring your awareness to your body now and notice any sensations or maybe no sensations at all.
You are going to take note of how your body feels,
Your fingers,
Your toes,
Your brain,
All of it.
Take it in,
Observe it,
Don't judge it.
Kindness to ourselves is the first prize and when we are consciously being kind,
Our environment projects that same kindness onto us.
So I want you to take a nice big deep inhale into your nose and then let it out with a gorgeous sigh.
Are you ready?
Let's go.
Let's do another one.
Inhale through the nose and exhale with a sigh.
And let's do one last one.
Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Before we move into the clearing breaths,
I want you to be consciously aware of how you relax your diaphragm.
You are actively breathing in your nose but your out breath is not active.
Your out breath is more of just like a reflex from the in breath.
So we are going to clear out that space.
So let's go for 3 rounds of 20 clearing breaths.
This is going to be as clearing as possible.
Your conscious mind is clearing out that space,
Allowing you to plant and sow your gorgeous new garden.
At the end of those 20 breaths,
I'm going to ask you to hold at the bottom of your exhale for as long as you possibly can.
Deep inhale through the nose,
Short relaxed exhale through the mouth.
So it's going to sound like this.
Okay,
Let's go.
And hold.
Hold it for as long as possible.
And when you're ready,
Just return to your natural breath.
Feel how your belly rises and falls.
But I want you to specifically take note of how your body is reacting.
How is your body feeling?
What thoughts are arising into your mind?
Because this is a very beginner version,
I want you to start taking note of the things now so that as we progress,
You can be aware of how you're feeling.
Your brain will be trained to look at your body,
Look inside of your body.
Okay,
When you're ready,
We're going to go into 20 nourishing breaths.
So now we're going to nourish our insides.
Imagine all those cells just becoming electric.
Imagine all of your cells becoming healed,
Fed,
Loved,
Ready and let's go in 3,
2,
1.
Hold.
Hold for as long as possible.
And come back to your body and your normal breathing.
You're clearing out what you no longer need.
This is exactly what it's all about.
Getting rid of the old.
Listen to your body.
Look inside.
Are your fingers tingling?
Are you feeling lightheaded?
Are you feeling just nothing?
Just normal,
Elated,
Happy,
Maybe a bit sad.
And we're going to move on to the last 20 nourishing breaths.
Now,
This is the round where we're clearing out so that we can fill it up with lots and lots of love and deep gratitude for ourselves.
Ready?
Let's go in 3,
2,
1.
Hold.
Hold for as long as possible.
And return to your natural rhythm.
The rise and fall.
The internal tie.
Your perfectly imperfect balance.
Rhythm.
How you are synced with your body.
I want you to take note of how your heart center is feeling right now.
Is it alive?
Is it flat?
Is it feeling sad?
Because deep into our being we have cleared out our heart center.
I want to,
Or I ask you,
Invite you to bring your hands up to your heart.
Right hand and then left hand over that.
And I'd like you to take a deep breath.
Slow,
Steady and easy.
Through your nose and I want it to be an audible exhale.
Any sound.
It can be a cry.
It can be a sigh.
Whatever works best for you.
When you are ready and you feel top top with that nourishing love that you've given yourself,
Roll onto your side.
It need not matter which side that is.
Left or right.
In the fetal position,
Lie there until you are ready to rise up again for the day.
With a clear heart center.
Ready to fill yourself up with all of that love that everything in your world has to offer you.
I thank you for loving yourself today.
Namaste.
