Just take a moment to get comfortable.
Create a long spine.
Soften the shoulders.
And close your eyes.
And just take a moment of gratitude for the day.
This is your day.
Your day to just slow down,
Rest and simply be.
The day is yours.
There's nothing to rush to.
There's nothing to accomplish.
Going to resist the temptation to do so.
Do be productive to check things off the list.
And instead we're just going to be bringing yourself into this moment.
Just by noticing the gentle rhythm of your breath.
Feeling.
The air move in and the air move out.
Just noticing how the breath feels today.
Now take a big deep breath in through the nose,
Bringing in that fresh energy.
Take a long,
Slow breath out.
Releasing any tension or any lingering thoughts of what should be done.
Just let yourself be present in this moment of stillness,
Peace and ease.
And now in your mind's eye.
Imagine that you're in your favorite place.
Maybe it's even a place in your house,
A spot by the window.
Maybe it's your favorite place to go on vacation.
Maybe it's the yard of your childhood home.
Don't overthink it.
Just pick a place you like that you find to be relaxing.
And just visualize yourself there.
Why is this place so special to you?
What feels so good about it?
Thinking about what you smell there.
What do you hear in this place?
What does your body feel?
When you look around,
What do you see?
Just allow yourself to be in this moment,
To be in this place.
Allowing yourself to be at ease.
Unburdened by time or obligations or tasks.
Just feel the comfort and ease around you.
Let your body soften.
Your shoulders,
Release your jaw,
Let it unclench.
And just be here.
In a place that you find to be pleasant and enjoyable.
No other reason other than just to be here and enjoy it.
There's nowhere else you need to be.
You're in the perfect place.
Tell yourself three times.
I allow myself to rest.
I deserve this time to simply be.
Just let yourself be here for a few more moments.
Just enjoying the pleasant.
Easy existence of the day in this place.
Just the gentle joy of doing nothing.
But just being present with yourself.
And take a big deep breath in through the nose.
And sigh it out through the mouth.
Taking one last moment of gratitude.
For the gift of the day.
When you're ready,
Bring yourself back to the moment,
Back to your place,
Wherever you're listening to my voice.
And open your eyes and close your meditation practice.
Thank you for being here.
And I hope you have an amazing day off.
You deserve it.
