And just acknowledging that your mind might be spinning.
Maybe you're replaying the day.
Wondering when your baby might wake next.
You might find yourself listening for every sound.
Where you're just so exhausted but your body can't quite settle.
All of these things while not ideal.
They happen.
Just name what you're feeling,
Recognize that it's there.
And then give yourself permission to experience it without trying to fix it.
All of this right now is a totally normal response to everything that your body and your heart have been carrying.
It is temporary.
And remember that you are safe.
Your baby is safe.
And right now for this moment.
You are allowed to rest.
You Now begin by naming what you feel.
How's your body feeling right now?
What emotions are you feeling?
Just notice what's here today.
And remind yourself that these are simply feelings.
A collection of thoughts,
Sensations,
And emotions that move through you.
They're not permanent.
Now tell yourself three times,
It is time to rest.
You Tell yourself three times,
There is nothing I need to figure out right now.
And tell yourself three times.
I am safe to fall asleep.
And now begin to breathe.
Just breathing in and out at first.
Feeling the body expand on the inhale.
And relax and soften on the exhale.
Inhaling completely and exhaling entirely.
And now begin to extend that exhale.
Still breathing in entirely.
And then taking your time on a long,
Slow,
Relaxed breath out.
Inhaling,
Filling up.
And exhaling low,
Slow,
Long breath out.
You and now feel yourself begin to respond to the breath.
Notice yourself physically soften.
And emotionally release as you breathe out.
And if worry begins to creep back in.
That's okay.
Just remind yourself that everyone is safe.
You are okay.
Your baby is okay.
Now is the time to rest.
And your body knows how to wake you if you're needed.
For now.
It's okay to sleep.
Notice your body where it melts into the mattress beneath you.
Feel its soft,
Comforting hug around your body.
And enjoy the warmth of your bed as it supports you.
Cocooning you in soft sheets and blankets.
Your body has worked so hard today.
Caring for your baby.
And just let it be held now.
Feel the breath begin to move through your body.
Is that the whole body is breathing.
Feel the whole body expand on the breath in.
And feel the whole body relax and release on the breath out.
Letting yourself drift deeper into relaxation with each passing breath.
Now in your mind's eye.
Imagine a soft,
White,
Sparkling egg-shaped light floating above you.
It's like an egg filled.
With tiny little stars.
Glowing with a warm and peaceful light.
See this white light floating above your head.
And notice it begin to gently draw away all of the thoughts,
Worries.
And mental load you've been carrying today.
Just like a magnet,
Softly lifting them from your mind.
Watch the thoughts drift upward into the light like warm waves rising.
And see the worry leaving your mind being absorbed by that light.
Maybe in your head relaxed,
Quiet and soft.
As the crown of the head softens,
The mind grows still.
And the space between the eyebrows release.
Now you see the light move from the top of your head.
Slowly making its way down your face,
Past your forehead.
Your eyes,
Your cheeks.
Your nose and your lips.
As it passes,
It gently lifts away any remaining tension from your face.
Jaw.
And ears.
Leaving your face completely relaxed and at ease.
And now continue to watch the light slowly move down through your neck.
Your shoulders.
Down your arms,
Across your chest and your heart.
See it moving down your belly.
Your hips.
Your legs.
And all the way to the soles of your feet.
Gently drawing away any last bit of stress,
Tension or worry,
Even heaviness from your body.
You and just allow yourself to feel completely relaxed.
And deeply supported.
With every breath cycle,
Feeling yourself drift a little bit closer into restful sleep.
Thanks for watching!
Bye!
Now bring your awareness back to your breath.
Taking your time with your exhales.
Every breath out leaves you feeling even 1% softer.
1% more relaxed and at ease.
Every single breath brings you closer and closer.
To sleep.
