A simple, short meditation to sit in awareness of low emotions. This will help remind you that we must feel completely the entire range of human emotion in order to move them through our bodies and feel lighter.

Transcript

I give you permission to sit in your sadness,

To feel into your disappointment,

To allow your anger.

I give you permission to feel all of your feelings.

As we sit through today's meditation,

I ask that you relax into your chair and begin to slow your breath,

Breathing in gently through your nose and out through your mouth.

Continue to breathe a little bit deeper each time until you feel your body relax and your heart rate slow just a bit.

As you continue to sink into this relaxed state,

Give yourself permission to feel any of those low vibrational feelings that you have.

As you continue to feel the low vibrations,

You may have heard or been told that you need to be happy,

That you need to be nice and good and kind,

But we can be all of those things and more.

Give yourself permission to be sad if you need to be sad.

Give yourself permission to be angry if you need to be angry.

Give yourself permission to be disappointed if something didn't work out the way you hoped.

If you do not consciously give yourself permission to feel these emotions,

Your body will carry them.

You will be weighed down by them until you release them.

From your relaxed state,

Open up your hands and allow energy to pour out of you and into the universe so that you are making space to feel lighter,

To feel renewed and refreshed once more.

Know that it is okay to feel what you are feeling.
