Hello beautiful,
I'm so grateful you're here joining me for tonight's sleep meditation.
Settle in to the cradle of your bed,
Where the cool hush of early autumn meets the warmth still living in your sheets.
Feel your body exhale the day,
Bones heavy,
Chest loose,
Belly soft under your hand.
Let your breath fall low and slow into your belly,
That golden center where your courage lives,
Where worry sometimes curls in tight fists,
Where the fire of self burns steady and bright.
Above you tonight,
The early autumn moon climbs the sky,
Soft,
Unhurried,
Watching over the quiet earth as the leaves begin their gentle surrender.
Imagine this moonlight pours down through the ceiling,
Falling in silver threads right into your solar plexus,
Just above your navel,
Where your power has sometimes felt too rigid,
Too tense,
Too guarded.
Let the moonlight rest there,
Cooling the heat of control,
Unwinding the tight knots of fear.
With each breath,
This gentle light soothes the push and pull inside your gut.
If old doubts rise up,
See them drift away on a quiet wind,
Carried into the rustle of autumn leaves.
If tightness returns,
Breathe it out and trust the exhale to release it.
This moon has watched you long before tonight.
She knows the weight you carry in your middle,
The expectation to be strong,
The habit of holding everything together.
Tonight,
Let her show you how to soften,
How to let this golden center rest.
You are not losing strength.
You are inviting trust.
You are not losing control.
You are gaining peace.
Feel the cool hush of the season seep through the window.
Feel your belly rise and fall without force,
Without effort.
Whisper inward.
Let these words settle into the warmth just behind your ribs.
Feel the moon above.
Feel the earth below.
Feel your breath somewhere in between.
Here,
Under the early autumn moon,
You are softer,
Freer,
Lighter.
Let the golden center glow quiet and gentle,
Healing you while you sleep.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
