Good evening,
Beautiful.
Welcome to tonight's sleep meditation.
Go ahead and close your eyes and let your body settle.
The light has changed.
You can feel it in the way evening drapes itself across the sky.
The air carries a quieter song now.
Less sizzle,
More stillness.
The long days begin to bow to night,
And something inside of you begins to shift too.
Summer,
With her arms open wide,
Invited spontaneity in play.
And now she gathers her things,
Leaves a kiss on your cheek,
And steps quietly toward the door.
You may feel a tug of resistance.
The sweet ache as you hold the memory of what was.
Laughter echoing from backyard evenings.
Bare feet walking across warm floors.
The freedom of unscheduled days and the warmth of late sunsets lingering just a little too long.
Let it all rise in you.
The joy,
The motion,
The chaos and the peace.
Let it bloom and fade like petals on the wind.
You do not need to hold it tightly.
Just honor that it was real,
That it was lived,
And now is complete.
Take a deep breath in,
And let your body soften.
Let the day drip from you.
Let your hands fall open,
And let your heart open.
Inhale gently,
And exhale to season.
You are standing at the threshold between what has been and what is quietly beginning.
And this space,
This in-between,
Is sacred.
There may be lists waiting for you,
More school supplies to buy,
Mornings to prepare for,
And new rhythms to still embrace.
But tonight,
There is no rush.
No requirements to solve or organize.
Only breath.
Only stillness.
Only release.
Notice how your body is already aligning with this shift.
Wanting to slow.
Wanting structure.
Wanting rest.
Feel your body respond to the rhythm of transition.
The gentle pulse of change.
The trees will begin their quiet preparations soon.
The ground will cool.
The sky will offer new colors.
And you will rise with the new season.
Steadier,
Clearer,
And changed because of it.
For now,
You rest.
Inhale gratitude for all that some are offered.
The lessons.
The letting go.
The laughter.
The long days that asked for nothing but presence.
Exhale fully,
And let the chapter close.
Not because you are finished,
But because the story has reached its gentle end,
And is ready for the next chapter.
Breathe in peace.
Breathe out anticipation.
You don't need to be ready.
Just soften into this moment.
To trust that what's coming will meet you exactly where you are.
Feel the summer fold herself into a memory.
Let her drift into dreams.
Her magic is now a part of you.
And her ending is a beginning in disguise.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
