When something is playing on your mind, it can be hard to focus on anything else. Thoughts circle, worries take over, and it can feel difficult to get even the simplest things done. This gentle meditation offers a little space from that mental busyness. Rather than trying to push thoughts away, you’ll practise noticing them with curiosity and kindness, creating some distance from whatever is occupying your mind. From there, you’ll reconnect with the body and the ground beneath you, settle into the present moment, and set a clear intention for how you’d like to move into the rest of your day. Return to this practice whenever worry, overthinking or a busy mind is pulling you away from what’s in front of you, and you’d like to feel a little more clear, grounded and steady.
